A Visibly Annoyed Obama Defends Islam And Says ‘ISIL Not Islamic’

“Now let’s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic,” Obama said, speaking from the state floor of the White House residence. “No religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of ISIL’s victims have been Muslim.”

Every time he gives a speech, I always wonder just whose president he really is

In what was supposed to be a “red meat” speech to comfort Americans that our government is working hard to keep us safe and protected, Obama’s first words out of his mouth were an aggravated, impassioned defense of Islam as a ‘religion of peace‘. Seriously, could it get any worse?

In his prime-time speech to the nation on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, President Obama made a particular point of declaring that the Islamic State terrorists “are not Islamic.”

Now let’s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic,” Obama said, speaking from the state floor of the White House residence. “No religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of ISIL’s victims have been Muslim.”

He added, “And ISIL is certainly not a state. It was formerly al-Qaida’s affiliate in Iraq, and has taken advantage of sectarian strife and Syria’s civil war to gain territory on both sides of the Iraq-Syrian border. It is recognized by no government, nor the people it subjugates. ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.”

THE BIG ONE: The Sun Rose This Morning Over Los Angeles To Reveal A Brutal Dystopian Landscape That Looks More Like The Aftermath Of A Nuclear Attack

The water system used to fight the Palisades fire in Los Angeles buckled under the demands of what turned out to be the most destructive fire in city history, with some hydrants running dry

I have no interest in politics other than using it to spread the gospel, but if I were the governor of California my main priority would not be climate change, sanctuary cities, healthcare for illegals or legislation to benefit transgenders. Those are the priorities of current governor Gavin Newsome. If I were the governor of California, my first priority would be fire preparedness, and my second would be earthquake preparedness. Everything else would fall in line behind that. Los Angeles is in ruins right now, not because of an “unprecedent natural disaster”, not because of “climate change” but because Gavin Newsom failed in preparing his state. Or, was it intentional? That’s the memo.

“Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;” Genesis 19:24 (KJB)

You have to admit, 2025 is off to a fantastically quick start from an end times perspective, so much so that the handwriting appears to be on the wall for the remaining 51 weeks of this new year. Ask yourself, if California is a state that is known for consistent and often-times brutal wildfires, why is there not a structure in place to be prepared for the next one, the “big one”. They have had decades to put such a system in place, the “big one” is actually happening right now, and the level of death, damage and destruction is eye-watering. This either happen through intentional neglect or intentional planning, but either way, it was intentional. Will we see 15-minute cities rising from the rubble? Pray for the families who lost loved ones, and pray that the gospel will be given out through street preachers as the city rebuilds.

Exhausted Firefighters battle devastating Los Angeles Pacific wildfires as winds calm somewhat

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: The devastation wrought by the hellish wildfires tearing through Los Angeles has been laid bare by a series of horrifying before and after images that emerged this morning. A slew of notable locations, including Sunset Boulevard that splits the upscale Pacific Palisades, were engulfed in punishing flames that tore through residential and commercial areas alike and reduced buildings to burnt-out husks. Banks, restaurants, gas stations and homes were left in smouldering ruins along the iconic boulevard, where bulldozers were forced to remove abandoned luxury motors, forging a path for emergency services and firefighters. The latest fires mean huge swathes of iconic southern California real estate from Malibu to Santa Monica, and from Pacific Palisades to Runyon Canyon, are ablaze – impacting millions caught off guard by the unprecedented spread and carnage.

As of Thursday morning, the largest inferno has consumed nearly 12,000 acres (4,856 hectares) in the picturesque Pacific Palisades neighborhood that is home to many film, television and music stars. In Studio City, several homes caught alight late on Wednesday after a fire broke out in a four-storey building and spread to neighboring properties.

At least five people have lost their lives in the disaster so far, with 2,000 structures obliterated and thousands of people left with nothing but ash across the city. The death toll is expected to rise as police and fire services prepare to deploy K-9 units trained to sniff out human remains.

More than 130,000 people are still under evacuation orders in Southern California as several notable TV, film and music stars took to social media to announce they had lost their homes.

California Governor Gavin Newsom meanwhile became emotional when asked about Donald Trump placing the blame on him for the disastrous wildfires, after the president-elect referred to the California Governor as ‘Gavin Newscum’ and said he was at fault for the disaster. Trump’s remark came as LA real estate developer Rick Caruso, whose Palisades Village properties were demolished by the inferno, blamed the shocking issue on ‘mismanagement’ and ‘systemic problems’ in the city after it emerged the hydrants were not filled by reservoir water.

‘This is a window into a systemic problem of the city — not only of mismanagement, but our infrastructure is old,’ he said, as the LA Times reported that firefighters were radioing their stations with reports that the hydrants were dry.

He went onto rail against LA Mayor Karen Bass – who was out of the country as the fire tore through the city earlier this week – and the Department of Water and Power (DWP) in a stern interview delivered to FOX News. Caruso – himself a former commissioner of the city’s Board of Water and Power – declared: ‘Everybody knew these winds were coming… you got to have water and my understanding is that the reservoir was not filled on time, or in a timely manner.

‘This is basic stuff… it’s all about leadership and management that we’re seeing a failure of and all of these residents are paying the ultimate price for that… Why don’t you call the mayor, who’s out of the country, and ask her? (why the fire hydrants are dry)’, he concluded. READ MORE

A Man In Great Need Was Told He Could Freely Receive A King James Bible At Our Bookstore, And Quietly Wept Tears Of Joy As He Held It In His Hands

When you support the Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars, this is what you’re helping to do.

At Bethany Baptist Church during our Sunday Service time, Bro. Ed recounted a story in Sunday School about praying in need of a “hug” from the LORD, however He wanted to work that out. The LORD responded to Ed’s prayer by sending him a blessing that exactly fit his need. He always does. At the NTEB Bookstore on Monday, a man came in after being told that this was a place where he could freely receive a copy of God’s preserved word, and when it was delivered the LORD had a hug for both parties.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 (KJB)

On Monday morning, I was in the back of the Bookstore in the Studio, testing the equipment and preparing the Monday Podcast, so I was not aware of what was happening up front. Intently focused on the work before me, I paid little attention to Lori coming in to sit at her desk, failing to notice that her eyes were moist with fresh tears. She sat for a moment then her voice snapped me to full attention, it was then I noticed her tears. When I asked what was the matter, Lori proceeded to recount for me what had just taken place up front. A man was sent over to our Bookstore, he was in great need of a Bible but unable to purchase one, and his friend had told him there was a place that could provide him with one. Lori showed him one or two of them, but the man quietly said his eyesight was so bad he was unable to see the print. Lori then handed him one with not just large print, but super giant print, and was pointing out the features of it, looking down at the Bible as she spoke. She noticed the man was quiet for a long moment, and when she looked up, his eyes were were quietly soaked with tears of joy. “I can see it”, he exclaimed, “I can see it!” I once was blind, and now I see, thank you LORD Jesus. Amen.

We give out so many thousands of Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts, it can become a little rote at times, due to not usually getting to meet or even see the persons on the other end receiving them. But on Monday, the LORD sent a man into our shop who needed a Bible but had a blessing to give us, a hug from the LORD. Reminding us of just how much this means to the people we give Bibles to. We rejoiced in tears of utter happiness. As if that wasn’t enough, we received a letter today from a young man in Texas that said this – “Please send me a free King James Bible, my name is Parker, I am 14 years old, and I need one very badly. Thank you very much and may God bless you and your ministry in Jesus Name, Amen”. When you support the Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars, this is what you’re helping to do.

If God has prospered you, please take a moment to click on the donate button to help us in this monumental task of providing King James Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions, gospel tracts as well as Spanish Bibles to inmates in jails and prisons from Florida to Alaska, and every state in between. We need your prayers, we need your generous financial support, and we need you to stand with us in the closing days of the Church Age. Thank you so very much, TO THE FIGHT!!!

APOCALYPTIC INFERNO: Out Of Control Fire Rages Across The Pacific Palisades In California As Week One Of The New Year Officially Comes To A Close

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Fearsome winds forced crews to ground firefighting aircraft in the battle against the Palisades fire on Tuesday night, making it even more challenging for firefighters to get a handle on the fast-growing blaze.

As of yesterday, the new year of 2025 was officially one week old and yet has so far managed to pack about 3 months worth of news into that 7-day period. Donald Trump is still 12 days away from being sworn in, and the Palisades fire is an excellent type picture of what it feels like in this new year. It feels like everything all around us is literally on fire like the fire ravaging the Palisades right now.

Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fireand in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.” Isaiah 50:11 (KJB)

Another problem they are having in California right now is they are running out of water, and because of that, efforts are now focused more on evacuation than they are on putting the fire out. Amid the hellish backdrop of the apocalyptic inferno, evacuation notices were placed along the affluent coastal region, with a chilling warning which read: ‘Immediate threat to life.’ Pray for the people in California, pray for a quick end to these fires, pray for the Lord to use you in these end times. That’s the memo.

Palisades fire: Worst is ‘yet to come’ as winds gain speed, ground aircraft

FROM THE LOS ANGELES TIMES: The use of aircraft was halted shortly before 8 p.m., and Los Angeles fire officials said they would continually reassess weather conditions to determine when they might be used again, said Margaret Stewart with the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire remained 0% contained at 11 p.m. Tuesday as “extreme fire behavior” continued to challenge firefighters, according to the L.A. County Fire Department. Wind gusts up to 60 mph were expected to continue through Thursday. The fire ignited at Piedra Morada Drive at 10:30 a.m. and had scorched 2,921 acres by early evening, forcing more than 30,000 residents to flee their homes. The extreme wind event blasting Southern California was forecast to peak between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday, posing a serious challenge to overnight efforts to combat the growing blaze.

“This event is not only not over, but it is just getting started and will get significantly worse before it gets better,” UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain said in a briefing just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The strongest and most widespread winds are “yet to come,” Swain said, as is the lowest humidity. L.A. County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone had warned around 4 p.m. Tuesday that increasing winds could make an air attack unfeasible. Although it might be frustrating for residents to see firefighting aircraft grounded, extreme winds can make those efforts less effective, as water or retardant that is dropped is immediately dispersed by the wind, said Gov. Gavin Newsom, who visited the site of the Palisades fire Tuesday.

“We can be up there all day, making people feel good,” he said, “but we’re not doing any good.”

The combination of extreme winds and critically low humidity created a dangerous recipe for new fires to break out overnight.

“We are anticipating — hopefully we’re wrong — but we’re anticipating other fires happening,” Newsom said at 4 p.m, adding that the state had strategically positioned resources in areas of high fire risk.

By around 6:30 p.m., that prediction had come true as the Eaton fire broke out in the hills above Altadena near Eaton Canyon. It had burned about 1,000 acres by late Tuesday night, prompting evacuations in the area west of the Eaton Canyon Golf Course, according to the U.S. Forest Service and the California Department of Foresty and Fire Protection. The strong winds led officials to suspend air coverage of the Eaton fire for the evening, Derderian said at 8:45 p.m.

Around 10:10 p.m., a brush fire, dubbed the Hurst fire, ignited in Sylmar and quickly spread to 100 acres, according to the U.S. Forest Service. Meanwhile, the Palisades fire continued to charge forward, threatening thousands of homes and scores of businesses. READ MORE
