Never Again: Holocaust Remembrance Day And The Jewish State Of Israel

When I was a child, I remember my dad saying to us “The Holocaust could happen again.”

“And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.” Genesis 49:1 (KJV)

Those words haunted my soul. How could the world allow this again? They captured the horrors of the camps in photos and news reels. Surely the world would NOT allow such an atrocity to happen again!

But now I am a Jewish believer in Yeshua. He has opened my eyes by His Word. On this “Yom HaShoah” Holocaust Remembrance Day, I see clearly that the evil behind the killing of 6 million of my people, and millions of others (between 10 and 12 million ) was a demonic force which certainly did not go away after WWII.

“For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. God’s Prophetical Promise To Return The Jews To Israel

Martin Luther’s hatred of Jews

We can no longer speak of the fathers of the Great Reformation as if they were without great sin. Martin Luther’s rapid hatred of the Jews, and his sermon called “On the Jews and Their Lies” was finally translated during the 20th century, for the whole world to see the truth.

Luther thought that God would use him to bring the Jews to Christ. This was not God’s plan, and when it did not happen, Luther turned on the Jewish people. Because of his “On the Jews and Their Lies” in just one night, over 2000 Jews were slaughtered.

“What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews? Since they live among us, we dare not tolerate their conduct, now that we are aware of their lying and reviling and blaspheming. If we do, we become sharers in their lies, cursing and blasphemy. Thus we cannot extinguish the unquenchable fire of divine wrath, of which the prophets speak, nor can we convert the Jews. With prayer and the fear of God we must practice a sharp mercy to see whether we might save at least a few from the glowing flames. We dare not avenge ourselves. Vengeance a thousand times worse than we could wish them already has them by the throat. I shall give you my sincere advice:

First to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians. For whatever we tolerated in the past unknowingly ­ and I myself was unaware of it ­ will be pardoned by God. But if we, now that we are informed, were to protect and shield such a house for the Jews, existing right before our very nose, in which they lie about, blaspheme, curse, vilify, and defame Christ and us (as was heard above), it would be the same as if we were doing all this and even worse ourselves, as we very well know.

Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.” [2]

It should be noted that Hitler loved Martin Luther, and carried a copy of “On the Jews and Their Lies” to every SS meeting. Luther’s anti Semitism colored the history of Germany, and their disdain for the Jewish people to this day. Replacement theology has been taught in the Lutheran church since its inception.

John Calvin was also a hater of God’s Chosen people.

“Their [the Jews] rotten and unbending stiffneckedness deserves that they be oppressed unendingly and without measure or end and that they die in their misery without the pity of anyone.” A quote from John Calvin.

Jewish persecution by the Church fathers:

Martin Luther and John Calvin certainly do not stand alone in their anti-Semitism. In a prior article I wrote for Rapture Ready, called “The Cross and How Jews Perceive It” I gave a history of persecution of the Jews by the church fathers.

Justin Martyr (A.D. 100-165) who was a Christian apologist, defended Christianity against its enemies.In his work titled, Justin Martyr With Trypho a Jew. He said that the seed of Jacob now referred to Christians and not the Jews. So began the infamous teaching of Replacement Theology.

Tertullian (A.D. 160-220) a church theologian from North Africa, wrote a derogatory and very anti-Semitic book titled, An Answer to the Jews around A.D. 200. This man twisted Scripture to fit his errant theology by claiming that the statement made to Rebekah about the twins (Esau and Jacob) within her (Genesis 25:23) was actually a reference to Jews and Christians.

He said that the older brother, Esau, represented the Jewish people. Jacob, the younger brother represented Christians. His premise was that the Christians would overtake the Jewish people. He said that the Jews would serve the Christians.

Origen (A.D. 185-254) was president of the school of theology in Alexandria, Egypt. He had a profound effect upon the church, by preaching that much of what is written about Israel in the Word, should be seen as allegorical – spiritualizing his interpretations. We know that the promises made to Israel are not open to interpretation. They should be taught and understood to be literal.

Origen took such liberties with the Word, claiming that the word Israel can mean the church. Not seeing and preaching God’s Word correctly (rightly dividing) becomes a slippery slope into myriad of heretical teachings. He was a Christian Universalist, believing in universal salvation for all people, and for the fallen angels.

Cyprian (A.D. 195-258) was a bishop of Carthage. He wrote, Three Books of Testimonies Against the Jews. He maintained that the Jews departed from the God who loved them, and that because they had departed from God, they lost His favor. He taught that God sought out a people who would obey him, and all promises were taken from Israel and bestowed upon the Christians.

John Chrysostom (A.D. 347-407) known as the greatest preacher of the gospel in the Eastern church, preached messages titled, Against the Jews in Antioch of Syria.Many preachers followed suit, and preached anti-Semitism from their pulpits.

An influential bishop of Milan, Ambrose, considered the Jews to be infidels, wholly perverse, and incapable of thinking any good thought. He said that the burning of synagogues was no crime and encouraged it.

Augustine (A.D. 354-430) was known as the most influential person since the apostle Paul. He wrote, Tract Against the Jews and influenced the church so dramatically against Jews, that derogatory comments about Jews during the Middle Ages were usually called “Augustinian.”

Augustine decreed a new eschatological view called Amillennialism, which actually means no Millennium. In doing this, the prophecies in Scripture could be spiritualized, and taught that these were all referring to the church.

The Roman Catholic church adopted and adhered to all teachings of Augustine. [3] – source

Prophecy fulfilled in 1948

After the horrors of the Holocaust were done, God was about to fulfill more of His prophetic Word.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” Isaiah 11:11-12 (KJV)

“And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.” Ezekiel 20:34 (KJV)

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8 (KJV)

The State of Israel was formally established in 1948!

The root of Anti Semitism

So where does the blame lie for the persecution and slaughter of the Jewish people? Satan HATES the Chosen people of God. He knows of God’s love for His people Israel. He knows that Yeshua came from the lineage of David. He has been trying to eliminate the Jews from the face of the earth for centuries.

We know that through God’s Chosen people, the Lord brought the Law and then through Jesus brought us Grace. The plan from the beginning was that through the Jewish people, God would extend His mercy and His forgiveness (Grace) to the entire world!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

New Nazis in a different package

Fundamentalist Muslims HATE the Jewish people, and want them to be eradicated from the earth. Can you see that this is merely Satan’s latest attempt to wipe out the Jews?

NOTHING will stop the will of God. NOTHING will stop His prophetic Word from being fulfilled. God is not finished with Israel. The apostate mainline churches have written Israel off as forgotten and hated. They teach the heretical “Replacement Theology.” How can you say you love Jesus, yet hate His people? It’s NOT possible.

I thank the Lord every day that He revealed Himself to this Jewish lady. Yeshua is my life. I wake up each morning thinking of Him, and on my pillow at night, I drift off to sleep in sweet thoughts of Him.

As we remember Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day – let us who love the Lord remember all of history concerning the Jewish people. Let us also think of Israel and pray for her every day.

The reaction so far, 2 days into the start of the Trump tariffs scheme, has been total global outrage. The stock market at the opening bell this morning was down another 1,200 point after a loss of 1,679 yesterday. Trump was ushered into office 73 days ago in a landslide victory amidst an outpouring of admiration from even many of his enemies. All he had to do was ride that wave and just do the People’s Business, but instead he’s opted for Armageddon with Liberation Day.

JD Vance freely admits that Trump Liberation Day Tariffs will cause short-term pain in the hopes of sparking the ‘big change’ that’s needed to ignite US economy

Americans as a people love to see the ‘big gamble’, the come-from-behind success story, the ‘Rocky’ big win stunningly achieved before the last bell rings. Milton Hersey was so sure he could be the first to bring commercialized chocolate to the people that he built his massive chocolate factory before he created his chocolate recipe. That’s a big gamble. Conrad Hilton was so sure he could be the first to bring coast-to-coast hotel services to America, he spent everything he had, twice, to do it. That’s also a big gamble. President Trump’s Liberation Day tariffs imposed on every nation we trade with, except Russia, that are guaranteed to bring ‘short-term pain’ to an already overstressed market? That’s the mother lode of the big gamble, and that’s the memo.

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJB)

As I said on Monday’s Podcast, I do not like the sound of ‘Liberation Day’, it has a far too ominous ring to it. But am I rooting for Trump and Vance to be successful? I sure am, let’s do it, boys. That said, the overnight reaction to Liberation Day has been quite harsh. The Dow has dropped by 1,500 points, trillions of dollars have been wiped from 401(K) accounts, and tariffs on new cars are up 25%, making purchasing one out of reach for many. My advice? Starting praying for Trump and Vance to get saved, and while you’re at it, start praying that God will be merciful to America that we not get plunged into recession or worse. VP Vance tells us to prepare for ‘short-term pain’, pray that it will be short.

FROM THE NY POST: Vice President JD Vance said Thursday he isn’t going to “shy away” from the short-term pain the Trump administration’s sweeping “Liberation Day” tariffs could potentially have on Americans — but insisted the US needed a “big change.”

“We cannot keep going down the Joe Biden globalist pathway where we have $2 trillion of peacetime debt and deficits. We have manufacturing disappearing,” Vance told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” “That is not working for Americans. We’ve got to take this country in a different direction.”

“Yes, this is a big change. I’m not going to shy away from it, but we needed a big change,” he added.

The veep also warned Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck that things weren’t likely to get better overnight — insisting Team Trump was left to clean up the Biden administration’s mess.

“We know people are struggling, we’re fighting as quickly as we can to fix what was left to us but it’s not going to happen immediately,” he said.

“We really do believe that if we pursue the right deregulation, we pursue those energy cost-reducing policies, yes, people are going to see it in their pocketbook. They’re also going to benefit from the fact that foreign countries can’t take advantage of us anymore. That means their jobs are going to be more secure.”

It comes after President Trump on Wednesday announced a 10% baseline tariff on all imports to the US, as well as higher duties on some of the country’s biggest trading partners — ranging from premium Italian coffee and Japanese whisky to sportswear made in Asia.

Trump, who argued the “reciprocal” tariffs were a response to duties and other non-tariff barriers put on US goods, would boost manufacturing jobs at home.

You are invited to NTEB Camp Meeting 2025 ‘Preach The Gospel!’ 3-Day Weekend to be held at Bethany Baptist Church in Saint Augustine, Florida

You are invited to come join us for the 5th Annual NTEB Camp Meeting, our theme will be ‘Preach The Gospel!’ and this year we will be focusing on the sending out of Paul’s gospel across America and around the world. Christian, the dispensation of the Church Age is closing, and if you want to go out at full speed, you’re not going to want to miss this year’s camp meeting.

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!“ 1 Corinthians 9:16 (KJB)

At our Bethany Conference on Dispensationalism we had back in January, Pastor Joel Tillis of Suncoast Baptist Church preached a message entitled “What Would Paul Do?”, speaking about the specific gospel and calling we have here in the Church Age. As such, we have been given a charge by Paul to preach the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures. We do that by preaching the word, teaching the word, and sending the word out in the form of King James Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts. Every speaker at this year’s Camp Meeting is going to share how the LORD is working that out in the calling He has placed upon them. Yes, you will hear some great preaching, for sure, but the goal of our meeting is to prepare you for the course God has for you to fulfill. TO THE FIGHT!!!

Our schedule and lineup has changed a little now that we have a church facility to hold the Camp Meeting in, and is spread over 3 days instead of just one big day. We have employed this format twice already with our Dispensationalism Conference Weekend and our Bookstore Grand Opening Weekend, and it all worked wonderfully.

Camp Meeting Days & Times:

  • FRIDAY MAY 23RD: Doors open at 6:45 PM, meeting starts promptly at 7 PM, and will go until about 8:30 PM. Pastor Joel Tillis will be the opening speaker.
  • SATURDAY MAY 24TH: Doors open at 5:45 PM, meeting starts promptly at 6 PM, and will go until about 7:30 PM. Various missionaries will give fresh updates from the mission field.
  • SUNDAY MAY 25TH: Doors open at 9:45 AM, meeting starts promptly at 10 AM, and will go until about 12:30 PM. Bro. Kevin Mann author of the “First Mention Study Bible” will preach both the Sunday School and Sunday Service. Dinner on the grounds to follow immediately after the end of the service!!
