Washington DC is gearing up for potential chaos following Election Day as authorities assembled barriers around government buildings – including the vice president’s residence – and business owners boarded up storefronts over the weekend.

Remember back in 2016 when Donald Trump, against all odds, win the presidential election against the mainstream media champion Hillary Clinton? Remember all the riots, lootings, burnings and protests that took place at the hands of disgruntled Democrats? Well, the vibe on the street is that Donald Trump is the likely winner in today’s election, and metal security fences and plywood barricades are going up as you read this to protect against the expected Liberal assaults.

Washington DC gears up for possible election chaos with metal fencing around VP’s home and business boarded up

FROM THE NY POST: The series of security measures come on the eve of the high-stakes presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris — which has exposed deep divisions and heightened tensions in the US.

The Secret Service placed 8-foot-high metal fences around the White House, and Harris’ home at the Naval Observatory though officials warned there are no specific threats of violence at this time, the Washington Post reported. The metal fencing was also around the Treasury Department complex and adjacent parts of Lafayette Square while the Capitol had temporary bike-rack barriers around its perimeter, according to the newspaper.

“The Secret Service is working closely with federal, state and local partners in Washington, DC and Palm Beach County, Florida to ensure heightened levels of Election Day safety and security,” the agency told the Washington Post Sunday.

“These enhancements are not in response to any specific issue but are part of wide ranging public safety preparations for Tuesday’s election.”

Private business and property owners have also worked to board up street-level windows and entrances in the event violence erupts in DC. Eric J. Jones, of the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington, told the publication that retailers are concerned about looting and damage.

“We’re not expecting full-fledged pandemonium like we saw after Jan. 6, 2021, or four years ago,” he said.

“I’m getting constant emails and text messages because people are really engaged. … People would rather be overprepared and have nothing happen, as opposed to the alternative,” said Jones, who is the association’s vice president of government affairs.

Admiral Security Services is expected to have 2,000 private security guards work 12-hour shifts at properties around the city, its executive vice president Leon Beresford told the Washington Post.

The growing apprehension comes four years after the Jan. 6 riot on the Capitol and May 2020 protests over George Floyd’s murder that spiraled into violence. Mayhem also erupted before and after Trump’s 2017 inauguration where protesters smashed downtown windows and clashed with police. Government buildings were also guarded with security fencing leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

In addition to the newly installed fencing, DC police announced that starting Monday at 7 p.m. there will be street closures and parking restrictions in anticipation of Harris’ election night party on Howard University’s campus. All of the city’s available 3,300 police officers are reportedly expected to work 12-hour shifts through the election. READ MORE

President Joe Biden overshadowed his vice president’s closing argument just one week before the election by trashing American voters and calling Trump supporters ‘garbage.’

Hillary Clinton famously referred to people voting for Donald Trump as ‘deplorables’ back in 2016, and went on to lose that election. Yesterday, sitting US president and leader of the Democrat party informed the American people that anyone who supports Donald Trump is human garbage. Literal, actual garbage as you can see and hear for yourself in the video below. The White House pulled an ‘Olivia Pope’ and attempted to walk back that statement, but too late.

Truth be told, what Biden said last night was a rare moment candid transparency for the Democrat leader, because they really do view any American citizen who voted for or will vote for Donald Trump as ‘garbage’. Joe Biden Trashes Trump Voters: ‘The Only Garbage I See Floating Out There Is His Supporters’

FROM BREITBART NEWS: Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her closing argument in front of the White House on Tuesday night, but soon-to-be former President Joe Biden said ahead of the big event that Trump supporters are “garbage.” Per the Associated Press:

Biden told reporters Tuesday that he will not attend Harris’ speech because the event is “for her,” but he planned to watch it on television. Ahead of Harris’ remarks, Biden is reacted to a comic calling Puerto Rico garbage at a Trump rally last weekend by saying, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

According to NBC reporter Gabe Gutierrez, Biden said in the full quote: “Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community…just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage?…The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

The president was referring to statements made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe during former President Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in which he referred to the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, home to American citizens, as a “floating island of garbage.”

After the president’s remarks went public, the White House attempted to walk the statement back by saying he was only referring to Hinchcliffe. JD Vance, running mate for former President Trump, condemned the remarks as an attack on half the country.

Kamala Harris held her largest rally ever, pro-Democrat news outlets estimate around 75,000 people show up to cheer on their comrade Kamala. But what the news is not telling you is that thousands of those people waved signs and called for an end of Israel, and for the Jews to be driven out of the Middle East. Kamala Harris final case to voters in Washington DC rally stained by Gaza bloodbath charges and calls for an end to Israel and the Jews

Bathed in the glow of floodlights and framed by the towering obelisk, Harris’ speech was meant to rally the faithful. But just beyond the cheering crowd, another, more urgent message echoed — massive protests demanding end to Israel’s carnage in Gaza being carried out with US-supplied weapons.

In the afternoon, the security presence was impossible to miss. Officers in dark uniforms clustered near metal detectors, and yellow barricades sectioned off areas to contain the swelling crowds.

As police drones hovered overhead, and sharpshooters plonked on the rooftops of nearby federal buildings, the National Park Service expanded its permit to accommodate more than 20,000 attendees, a dramatic leap from the original 8,000. On one side, rallygoers, many draped in campaign merchandise, lined up to see the woman they hoped could fend off the return of her Republican rival Donald Trump. On the other, groups of protestors — Palestinian flags and placards in hand — voiced their anger and frustration over Biden administration’s unbridled support for Israel’s carnage in Gaza.

By evening, the energy on the Ellipse felt both electric and tense, as the rally unfolded in a divided Washington.

“We’ve waited long enough to see real change,” Jeremy Collins, 43, a DC resident and lifelong Democrat, told TRT World. “Kamala is the one who can lead us through this moment — if we just hold the line. The stakes couldn’t be higher.”

The crowd roared as Harris took the stage, her words cutting through the cool October air. She painted this election as a choice between “progress and chaos,” warning that a second Trump presidency would plunge the nation into further division.

“I pledge to be a president for all Americans — to always put country above party and above self,” she said, her voice rising above the cheers. The familiar cadences of campaign rhetoric were sharpened by a sense of urgency.

On the northeast side of the Washington Monument, voice was gaining strength.

“Free, free Palestine!” rang out across the lawn, as protestors carried signs demanding an end to US support for Israel.

The presence of these demonstrators was impossible to ignore.
