Today we have partnered with Good Child Missions in Uganda, providing a daily cup of porridge for 1,100 precious children for a full year while Irad and Elizabeth Birsch teach them the gospel of the grace of God.

The global reach of Now The End Begins is massive, and at times it surprises even me, God has so very much enlarged our coasts as He did also for Jabez. A number of years ago, a young Christian in Uganda by the name of Irad Biryomumesho, or Irad Birsch as we know him in the chat room, started listening to our ‘Rightly Dividing’ King James Bible Broadcasts, and he got on fire for the Lord Jesus to get something done in Uganda. Irad is the handsome young man in the bottom right of the photo. A few moments ago, NTEB by faith sent funding for Irad’s ‘Cup Of Porridge’ Program, to feed 1,100 young Ugandan children, for a whole year, a much needed breakfast so they can have a full belly to be able to focus in church. I am wiping away tears as I write this, such is the goodness of God. Look at the young child in the photo holding the cup of porridge, add another 1,099 children to that, and this is what NTEB is doing for the next 12 months in Uganda. But the story doesn’t stop there.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJB)

After joining the NTEB family, and spending quite a few years studying the Bible with us, God called Irad to start Good Child Missions in Uganda. Irad explained to me how great the poverty is there, and many children are prevented from attending church because their hunger simply overwhelms them. He asked me if NTEB could help support ‘Cup Of Porridge’, and after praying about it, the Lord told me to fund it for a whole year. So I did. Not only that, we are sending them Bibles, lots of Bibles, and working out the details right now. If you think it’s a worthy thing to help feed and minister the word to 1,100 precious souls in Uganda, then I invite you to help us do this.

We have taught Irad the King James Bible, and now he is stepping up onto the front lines of the end times himself, and getting something done for the Lord Jesus. (NTEB incredibly has an outpost in Uganda, led by a man trained up by this ministry, read Acts 13:1-3 and think about that). Funding the ‘Cup Of Porridge’ Program for one year is $3,362.00, and while I don’t have a final number on what it will cost to ship the Bibles all the way to Uganda, it won’t be cheap. All told, there won’t be much change back from right around $10,000 or so for the Bibles and ‘Cup Of Porridge’. Please pray for our efforts here, like I said I am commiting the funds before we have them because I believe with all my heart it’s what God would have us to do. Not only to support our brother Irad and his work for the Lord, but to directly impact the lives of all those kids who need the gospel as well as a cup of porridge.
