After seeing his original plan fall through, Bro. Micah prayed and the Lord kicked the door wide open for him to get King James Bibles into north Georgia jails

In the vast majority of requests we get through Bibles Behind Bars, we know exactly where they’re going, how much and to whom it will be received by. Then every once in a while, we get what I call a ‘sleeper request’ where we’re not 100% sure where they’ll wind up. When we sent 504 King James Bibles to Bro. Micah two weeks ago, we had no idea we would ‘hit the jackpot’ in such an amazing way.

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Psalm 68:11 (KJB)

The original facility that Bro. Micah wanted to place the Bibles in had restrictions he was not aware of, so that fell through, leaving him with 21 cases of red-hot King James Bibles looking for a home. He wrote to us and said “The original jail that  requested them had some complications and was unable to receive them but God always has a plan and works in ways we do not understand which worked out better than expected and opened doors to new unexpected avenues of service.” But God…

After praying about it, the Lord opened the door wide open, and these were the amazing results:

• 2 cases to the Cheetooga County Jail Chaplain Joel Smith
• 2 cases to the Whitfield County Jail Chaplain Larry Styles
• 15 cases to the Floyd County Jail Chaplain David Thorton
• 2 cases to Pilgrims Ministries This ministry helps released inmates to get started in a new life in Jesus Christ.

1 single Bible was sent to Chaplain Joey Meeks at Paulding County Jail who is the Director of the Northwest Georgia Chaplains Association. Micah says he sent him a sample Bible and NTEB Contact information. Chappie was going to do a “show and tell” to some of the other Chaplains in the area and see about getting more sent there. Wow, a grand-slam home run if you ask me, truly the Lord all over it. In closing, Micah said “All Glory and praise to God and we pray that NTEB will continue to be used by God to see men and women getting saved and their lives being truly transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Something that the prison system can not truly do.” Amen, and amen. I have a feeling we will be sending him another 500 Bibles quite soon.
