Both the The Farmington Correctional Center and the Garza West Unit have  an immediate need for King James Bibles, will you help us to send them to out?

Chaplain Smith from the Farmington Correctional Center – A Side wrote to tell us this: “We have the constant need of bibles, due to we the fact that we have the side of the Facility where we are receiving all new offenders. We also have a large group of Christian General population. We have 13 different Christian groups meeting a week in the chapel, as well bibles and ministry within our medical and Administrative Segregation Units.” A constant need for Bibles without a way to meet that need, that’s why Bibles Behind Bars was raised up.

Over at the Garza West Unit in Texas, Chaplain Hall wrote to us and said “At last count we have 2233 inmates. We’re an intake facility so guys sometimes only stay a few months before moving on and our numbers will go up and down. If you could send us up to 200 full Bibles at a time that would be great.” Garza West needs batches of 200 Bibles at a time, as an intake facility they have a constant turnover of new faces, most of whom will need a King James Bible. Both the NTEB Free Bible and Gospel Tract Program and Bibles Behind Bars are 100% funded by Christians all over the world who pray for this vital outreach which God has raised up, and who donate financially to give us the resources that we need to keep sending out large quantities of full Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts. Recently, we’ve also been sending between 30-40 copies of “What Must I Do To Be Saved?” by Dr. Bill Grady to aid in the evangelizing of the inmates to lead them to  salvation in Jesus Christ. I am happy to report that all of the NTEB Relief Convoy has reached its destination, unharmed, and is being right now unloaded on the ground in Asheville.

Just moments ago, text messages from both Charlie On The Highway and Pastor Tucker lit up my phone, excitedly telling me that the NTEB Relief Convoy had arrived safe and sound at Bible Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina. On the Podcast today, we took time out to pray for all the men who were doing the driving, and the nearly 100,000 pounds of materials they were carrying. I am thrilled to report to you that those prayers have been wonderfully answered. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJB)

Packed into our 6 trucks were 44,000 pounds of bottled water, 35,000 pounds of food, personal items, food, clothing and diapers, hundreds of John/Romans scripture portions, and 1,000 Bibles in English and Spanish. What a wonderful use of the NTEB Free Bible Program, this is exactly what it was raised up to do. These supplies will join donations from other groups who are also contributing, using Bible Baptist Church as a staging area under the direction of Pastor Andrew Sluder. Truly a monumental relief effort coming from many churches spread across multiple states, and made available to the some 92,766 residents of the city of Asheville.

All day today, I have received messages from concerned people telling me about the looting going on in western North Carolina, and it is. Messages about interference from FEMA, which is absolutely happening. And messages telling me that they were praying for our convoy to arrive safely. I am happy to report that all of it has reached its destination, unharmed, and is being right now unloaded on the ground in Asheville.
