The opening of the seventh seal in Revelation 8 ushers in the ‘active phase’ of the time of Jacob’s trouble known as the great tribulation

In our Tuesday night Bible study, we took a serious look at the 144,000 Witnesses that God seals at the beginning of the time of Jacob’s trouble, we saw who they are, where they come from and the end times ministry they will perform. The logical follow-up to that seems to me to be the opening of the seventh seal in Revelation chapter 8. That’s where all the wild things are.

“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” Revelation 8:1 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we take a deep-dive into the seventh seal where we see seven angels who are given 7 trumpets that provide 7 distinct judgments, and 7 vials of additional judgment that is poured out upon the inhabiters of the Earth. Ever hear of a “21-gun salute”? That’s when 7 US soldiers fire into the air 3 times each, totaling 21 shots in the air, with each round separated by a 5-second interval. It is the highest miliary honor that can be bestowed, and it is usually reserved for the President of the United States, to honor a king, or fallen soldiers. As it turns out, God has a 21-gun salute for this world, and when the last of those 21 shots are fired, ‘the kingdoms of this world’ will have become the kingdoms of the KING OF KINGS Jesus Christ. Tonight we take you on perhaps our wildest ride ever here on ‘Rightly Dividing’, and after 13 years of broadcasting, that’s saying something.

The Bible says Teach Us To Number Our Days, That We May Apply Our Hearts Unto Wisdom. It’s later than you think, and the days are evil.

One of the many recurring messages found in your King James Bible has to do with time and the length of our days here upon the Earth. Many a man, and woman, have found themselves ‘in departing’ without ever realizing that we all come with an expiration date. Moses had one, Aaron had one, Paul had one, and Christian, so do you, and it is in your best interest to find out a little something about it. That’s the subject of my message today for this Sunday Service.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 (KJB)

One main reason for wanting to uncover what God has to say about our appointed time is because we all will give an account for how we spent it. Do you realize that time is the only currency that people spend without ever checking their balance? Lost people will give an account for their time at the Great White Throne Judgment found in Revelation 20, and saved people will give an account for how we spent our time at the Judgment Seat of Christ found in places like 2 Corinthians 5:10. The message of this lost world has always been “Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think”, and the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is to “redeem the time for the days are evil”. Only you can decide how you spend the time you have left, but saved or lost, you will give an account.

“The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Psalm 90:10 (KJB)

2022: The life expectancy at birth for men was 74.8 years, for women it was 80.2 years

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14 (KJB)

Over the past century and a half, science and medicine have made incredible strides in conquering and eradicating various diseases. Things like AIDS and syphilis which once were a death sentence, can now be controlled and/or cured through medicine. But in 6,000 years of human history, there has not been the prevention of even a single death.

“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 (KJB)

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 32:46,47 (KJB)

Built in 1914, the MCF-Stillwater is the state’s largest close-security institution for adult males. The facility has seven living units inside and also has a minimum-security unit outside the main perimeter.

The role of MCF-Stillwater in the DOC is to provide men with educational, vocational and industrial programming opportunities during incarceration. Educational programs include adult basic education, literacy, and general educational development (GED). Vocational programs include carpentry, welding, machining, boiler operation, and electrician. Stillwater also provides transitional life skills, behavioral change, and restorative justice programming. Today they reached out to us here at Bibles Behind Bars and asked if we could help them with Bibles.

Chaplain Scott Westphal wrote to us earlier today with a short but straight to the point email. He said “We are in need of King James Version bibles. Large print. The guys are asking for them but we do not have any on hand.” He is the chaplain over at MCF-Stillwater, and sending Bibles to his facility will be the first open door the Lord has given us in the state of Minnesota. MCF-Stillwater is home to The Prison Mirror, the nation’s oldest, continuously-operated inmate newspaper. Founded in 1887, The Prison Mirror has won many national awards for outstanding penal journalism. Now they will receive the ‘good news’ of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as found in the pages of the King James Bible.
