Donald Trump reached the number of delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination for president Thursday, completing an unlikely rise that has upended the political landscape and set the stage for a bitter fall campaign

Trump was put over the top in the Associated Press delegate count by a small number of the party’s unbound delegates who told the AP they would support him at the national convention in July. Among them is Oklahoma GOP chairwoman Pam Pollard.

“I think he has touched a part of our electorate that doesn’t like where our country is,” Pollard said. “I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump.”

It takes 1,237 delegates to win the Republican nomination. Trump has reached 1,238. With 303 delegates at stake in five state primaries on June 7, Trump will easily pad his total, avoiding a contested convention in Cleveland.

Donald Trump NRA Speech:

Trump, a political neophyte who for years delivered caustic commentary on the state of the nation from the sidelines but had never run for office, fought off 16 other Republican contenders in an often ugly primary race.

Many on the right have been slow to warm to Trump, wary of his conservative bona fides. Others worry about his crass personality and the lewd comments he’s made about women.

But millions of grass-roots activists, many of them outsiders to the political process, have embraced Trump as a plain-speaking populist who is not afraid to offend.

Steve House, chairman of the Colorado Republican Party and an unbound delegate who confirmed his support of Trump to the AP, said he likes the billionaire’s background as a businessman.

“Leadership is leadership,” House said. “If he can surround himself with the political talent, I think he will be fine.”

Trump’s pivotal moment comes amid a new sign of internal problems. Hours before clinching the nomination, he announced the abrupt departure of political director Rick Wiley, who was in the midst of leading the campaign’s push to hire staff in key battleground states. In a statement, Trump’s campaign said Wiley had been hired only on a short-term basis until the candidate’s organization “was running full steam.”

Donald Trump Insists The National Anthem Must Be Sang in Anaheim:

His hiring about six weeks ago was seen as a sign that party veterans were embracing Trump’s campaign. A person familiar with Wiley’s ouster said the operative clashed with others in Trump’s operation and didn’t want to put longtime Trump allies in key jobs. The person insisted on anonymity because the person was not authorized to publicly discuss the internal campaign dynamics.

Some delegates who confirmed their decisions to back Trump were tepid at best, saying they are supporting him out of a sense of obligation because he won their state’s primary. Cameron Linton of Pittsburgh said he will back Trump on the first ballot since he won the presidential primary vote in Linton’s congressional district.

“If there’s a second ballot I won’t vote for Donald Trump,” Linton said. “He’s ridiculous. There’s no other way to say it.”

Trump’s path to the Republican presidential nomination began with an escalator ride.

Trump and his wife, Melania, descended an escalator into the basement lobby of the Trump Tower on June 16, 2015, for an announcement many observers had said would never come: The celebrity real estate developer had flirted with running for office in the past.

His speech then set the tone for the candidate’s ability to dominate the headlines with provocative statements, insults and hyperbole. He called Mexicans “rapists,” promised to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and proposed banning most Muslims from the U.S. for an indeterminate time.

He criticized women for their looks. And he unleashed an uncanny marketing ability in which he deduced his critics’ weak points and distilled them to nicknames that stuck. “Little Marco” Rubio, “Weak” Jeb Bush and “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz, among others, all were forced into reacting to Trump. They fell one-by-one – leaving Trump the sole survivor of a riotous Republican primary.

His rallies became magnets for free publicity. Onstage, he dispensed populism that drew thousands of supporters, many wearing his trademark “Make America Great Again” hats and chanting, “Build the wall!

The events drew protests too- with demonstrators sometimes forcibly ejected from the proceedings. One rally in Chicago was canceled after thousands of demonstrators surrounded the venue and the Secret Service could no longer vouch for the candidate’s safety.

When voting started, Trump was not so fast out of the gate.

He lost the Iowa caucuses in February, falling behind Cruz and barely edging Rubio for second. He recovered in New Hampshire. From there he and Cruz fiercely engaged, with Trump winning some and losing some but one way or another dominating the rest of the primary season – in votes or at least in attention – and ultimately in delegates.

Republican leaders declared themselves appalled by Trump’s rise. Conservatives called the onetime Democrat a fraud. But many slowly, warily, began meeting with Trump and his staff. And he began winning endorsements from a few members of Congress.

As with other aspects of his campaign, Trump upended the traditional role of money in the race.

He incurred relatively low campaign costs – just $57 million through the end of April. He covered most of it with at least $43 million of his own money loaned to the campaign. He spent less than $21 million on paid television and radio commercials. That’s about one-quarter of what Jeb Bush and his allies spent on TV.

Trump entered a new phase of his campaign Tuesday night by holding his first major campaign fundraiser: a $25,000-per-ticket dinner in Los Angeles.

Trump, 69, the son of a New York City real estate magnate, had risen to fame in the 1980s and 1990s, overseeing major real estate deals, watching his financial fortunes rise, then fall, hosting “The Apprentice” TV show and authoring more than a dozen books.

The American People Voted To Repeal Wokeism, Abortion, Transgender Tyranny, DEI, Inflation, Open Borders And The Entire Main Stream Media

America voted for America last Tuesday night, and rejected the radical woke agenda offered by Kamala Harris and the Democrat machine, but what comes now?

Last Tuesday night, the American people voted across the board to rid our nation of about a half-dozen things that no one wanted. Voters said with their ballots that they were tired of a bad economy with high inflation, tired of open borders and the endless procession of illegals flooding our states, and tired of the Obama Transgender Manifesto that sought to elevate the perceived needs of a resounding minority above and beyond the needs of the majority. The best part? Donald Trump was handed his landslide mandate by a wonderful coalition of blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, and yes, even LGBT voters. In short, America voted for America, and America won, but how long can we hang on to it?

“Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.” Psalm 9:20 (KJB)

So the question is, having received the a generational drubbing at the polls, has the Democratic Left actually learned anything at all about what the people want? It would appear they have not. America is now, and has always been, a very diverse nation, but people inherently understand that going to far to either extreme invites disaster. Much of how the Left is reacting right now is more in line with mental illness than it is with good old voter dissatisfaction. Reactions like women shaving their heads on social media, endless videos of Democrats dissolving into hysterical weeping and cries of ‘racism and misogyny’ because Hispanics and blacks ‘didn’t want a mixed race woman’.

What they didn’t want, and what a majority of America didn’t want, was a puffed-up media creation candidate who ran on promising to fix all the things she helped break for the past 4 years. On top of that, the Democrats ran a vice presidential candidate who literally skipped and pranced while blowing kisses around the podium at rallies like Richard Simmons. It was truly a clown show, and America was not buying.

America said no to the radical woke agenda offered by the Democrats, and signaled a desire to return to a time when people had more common sense, protected children instead of indoctrinating them, and rewarded workers based not on their color of their skin, or gender, but on their own merits, efforts and hard work. But make no mistake about it, we are still living in the last days, and we are still a nation that rejects God if you use any sort of a biblical standard. Perilous times lay ahead, and Trump’s mandate will be thwarted by the Democrats every chance they get. Things are exactly as you would expect them to be here on Day 1,702 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, and there remains much work to be done for the LORD. It is up to us who are saved to step up to the plate. Now. TO THE FIGHT!!!

After An Overwhelming And Decisive Election Day Win, George Soros Funded Pro-Palestinian Anti-Trump Protests Erupt Across Several Democrat Cities

In Chicago, a day after America decided, the United States Palestinian Community Network protested Donald Trump’s victory at Federal Plaza.

When Americans went to the polls on Tuesday, they voted across the board in favor of the platform that Donald Trump campaigned for president on, decisively and overwhelmingly. Trump won the Electoral College vote, the Popular vote, he won in the House, in the Senate and in the governors races. The American people not only voted him in in a landslide, they gave him a clear mandate to enact key Trump agenda items like immigration control and reform. Thousands of George Soros funded Pro-Palestinian agitators don’t see it that way, and last night in Chicago and Philadelphia, they took to the streets calling for an end of the nascent Trump presidency that won’t even begin until January 21st, 2025.

Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestinaart dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.” Isaiah 14:31 (KJB)

America is a nation of immigrants, and that is part of our strength. My dad’s family arrived here in 1732 from Germany by way of Holland and France, and my mom’s family arrived on a boat from Scotland at Ellis Island in 1922. Legal immigration is good and necessary in order to maintain our super-sized nation with the workforce needed to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. George Soros, and now his son Alex Soros, spend tens of millions of dollars per year to flood our streets with political agitators like the ones in our story today. Soros and the Democrats are the ones keeping racism alive, fomenting hatred and causing division. Donald Trump stands for American sovereignty over our borders, and they hate him for that. Donald Trump supports the Jewish state of Israel, and they hate him for that, too.

Palestinian advocates protest in Chicago after Trump win, immigration rights advocates also worry

FROM CBS NEWS: President-elect Donald Trump won more votes in Illinois this general election than he did in either of the two previous elections in which he ran. Immigration and the economy are two key issues that got people to the polls this election—and ultimately led to a victory for Trump nationwide.

In Chicago, a day after America decided, the United States Palestinian Community Network protested Trump’s victory at Federal Plaza.

“Our issues are with both parties,” said Hatem Abudayyeh of the U.S. Palestinian Community Network. “Both parties support Israel unequivocally.”

Vice President Kamala Harris underperformed with key parts of the Democratic coalition, while Trump made some inroads. Organizers of the protest said the current administration was warned of this outcome if the War in Gaza persisted and U.S. funding to Israel continued.

“They are not going to be able to take for granted the people that are represented here, the movements that are represented here,” said Abudayyeh.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated President-elect Trump, calling his victory history’s greatest comeback. And despite campaign threats of mass deportations, Trump won 45% of the Latino vote—a double-digit increase from 2020.

“The fear factor and the rhetoric, you know, is real,” said Lawrence Benito of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. Benito said his organization is ready to respond. “Obviously, we reject mass deportation agenda, and we’re going to continue to fight back,” said Benito. READ MORE

Organizers of the protest said the current administration was warned of this out come if the War in Gaza persisted and U.S. funding to Israel continued. Meanwhile, as Charlie De Mar reports, immigrants’ rights advocates are also concerned about what will happen in the new Trump administration.

Donald Trump Becomes The 47th President Of The United States In Stunning Victory As Americans Unite Across Race And Gender Lines To Sweep Him In

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

It’s a long way from November 5th 2024 to January 20th 2025, and absolutely anything could happen to president-elect Donald Trump between now and then. Stay awake, Christian.

One of the most amazing aspects of Donald Trump’s amazing victory this evening was the number of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, young people and women who crossed race, gender and party lines to come out and vote for Donald Trump. Americans said tonight, by giving Trump a solid mandate, that the country wants to throw off the shackles of the dark and dystopian Pandemic days, and move forward. That’s the good news. But today is Day 1,696 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, and we’ve just re-elected the man who started it all. What happens now? That’s the question, and that’s the memo.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” Daniel 2:20-22 (KJB)

Donald Trump is riding quite high right now, and there is joyous celebration across the Republican Party, and rightly so. Tonight the GOP won it all, the House, the Senate, the White House and the popular vote. A complete across the board sweep. But Donald Trump is a man whom the Deep State has hounded relentlessly for the past 8 years, first trying to discredit him with the Russian Collusion Hoax, then trying to bankrupt him with lawfare judgments, and then tried to assassinate him with a shot to the side of his head. There is no reason to believe the attacks on him will stop now that he has just won this election. It’s a long way from November 5th 2024 to January 20th 2025, and absolutely anything could happen. Will the Liberals who hate him with a never-ending and all-consuming hatred accept what happened tonight, or will the streets be filled with rioting and looting in protest? We will soon know that answer.

It would be ignorance to say that, while Donald Trump has secured the victory, that his many enemies are simply going to go away quietly. They’re not. In fact, I think the attacks, plans and schemes launched against him are only going to increase. Because why wouldn’t they? I have voted for Trump three times now, and I hope, and I pray the next 4 years will be a wonderfully prosperous, safe and secure time for America, but if the past is any indicator of the future, it’s going to be rocky road. But at least one night, for this amazing moment in time, let us thank the LORD who removes kings and sets up kings, for giving us this victory this evening. Pray for President-elect Donald Trump’s safety, he’s going to need it.

Donald Trump spoke to supporters early Wednesday morning after Fox News projected him to win the 2024 presidential race.
