Transgender People and Preferred Pronouns

Naming may have a certain ambiguity and arbitrariness to it, but the language of he and she, preferred pronouns and the use of bathrooms and hotel rooms does not. And I will draw a line and say, I will not call he “she.” I will not call she “he.”

One of the reasons why the professing Christian Church is weak and powerless in 2019 is because most Christians do not know Bible doctrine, if they do they do not know how to rightly divide, and the vast majority of the Christians I come in contact with have little to no discernment. Because of these factors, as we pointed out in last night’s Bible study on the same subject, the LGBTQ+ has been able to make incredible strides in taking power of our national narrative and steering it to where they want it to go. This is possible because we are no longer in the Philadelphia Church Age but rather the Laodicean one, and I don’t know about you, but it’s really starting to wear on me pretty good. Let’s talk about preferred pronouns.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)

The Transgender Agenda is sucking all the oxygen out of the room lately, as they are now the driving force in the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement, and Christians are confused and bewildered on how they should act when having to interact with them. The current president of the Southern Baptist Convention, an apostate named JD Greear, recently gave an interview where he suggested that Christians use something he calls ‘pronoun hospitality‘, and call them by whatever they identify as. Greear even tries to drag the Bible into his theological nightmare by suggesting that Paul would be accommodating to the transgender and call them by their preferred pronouns. Let me assure you that the apostle Paul would do no such thing.

We should love the lost souls of the LGBTQ+ Movement, without question, almost all of us have a gay or transgender relative. All Christians are called to love the lost no matter their sin, and to be a witness to them of the transforming power of the gospel of the grace of God. But we are never called to confirm people in their sin, and as such, there is a line that needs to be drawn. It is impossible to change your gender, a person who is born male remains male no matter what surgeries, creams, lotions, hormones or clothing they apply to their situation. A transgender ‘woman’ is still a man, and nothing exists anywhere in the world, at the moment, that can change that. Preferred pronouns are all part of the intentional confusion they are trying to draw you, the Christian, into. The transgender will tell you that using their preferred pronouns is a form of “respect and validation”, but it is no such thing, it’s mental illness.

I know that this article will fall on mostly deaf ears as the Laodicean Church in general has no desire to be anything other than lukewarm. It looks at Kanye West and cannot discern that is a deception, so they call him a ‘baby christian’ and allow him to earn $170 million in 6 weeks in album sales. It looks at the Chick-fil-A betrayal and says “Franklin Graham told me Chick-fil-A hasn’t change and I believe him!”. This is Franklin Graham. So I don’t expect that with preferred pronouns most Christians will be able to figure this one out, either. But here’s to hoping.

How Should I Refer to Transgender Friends?

FROM DESIRING GOD: Manhood and womanhood, our sex, are intended in the Bible — that is, intended by God our Creator — to be biologically or genetically identified. Of course, the biblical authors didn’t know anything about genetics, but I am throwing it in because we know genetics, and it is in sync with biology, which they did know.

“Manhood and womanhood are glorious realities that transcend biology, but are never to be severed from biology.”

There is vastly more to the meaning of manhood and womanhood than biology and genetics in the way we relate to each other, but not less. In other words, manhood and womanhood are glorious, personal realities that transcend genetics and biology, but are never intended to be severed from biology. One of the clearest ways to see this reality in the Bible is to see the many references to “male child” or “female child.” I looked them up just to make sure. This fact is so obvious that people wonder, Why are you even arguing? But we need to.

In other words, before children were old enough to express any gender-specific behaviors or desires or preferences, they were identified as male and female. And this identity defined their lives — for example, sometimes in matters of inheritance and other ways. There is no thought in the Bible of the possibility that the sex (biologically identified) could change because its rooted in biology.

Therefore, when Genesis 1:27 says, “God created us male and female,” there is every reason to think that this included our biological, genetic nature at the root of all the other transcendent aspects of male and female personhood. So we have a pervasive, biblical warrant to say that God wills for our sexual identity to be of one piece with our biological, genetic identity. Now that is my biblical premise.

Rare Cases

Let me just mention an exception. We all know that there are very, very rare situations of heart-breaking biological anomalies where the anatomical sexual organs are ambiguous or compromised. In those cases, we face very unusual challenges. If I were a parent to a child who was born in that situation, I think I would ask for genetic testing (which you couldn’t do generations ago) and opt for surgery that suits the child best for what his genetics say he or she is, and then raise him or her with that expectation.

But that is very, very rare. And we are talking mainly here about clearly identifiable sexual organs at birth through life that should define the trajectory of the sexual and gender life and understanding.

Now how does all that play out in our culture? Even short of surgery we are being asked in Minnesota to treat boys as girls who want to be treated as girls and vice versa so that it determines what team they play on in high school — the girls’ team or the boys’ team — what locker room they use, and what restrooms they use. We are being asked to call Bob “Mary” and Sally “Jim.” This will make obedience to Jesus in the coming days increasingly costly for us. So now, finally, here are my three guidelines:

Should I Call Her Jim?

(1) In one sense the names Sally or Jim are culturally arbitrary. We can name our kids whatever we want. We can name them after cars or planets or Greek virtues or Grandma. Calling someone by that arbitrary name their parents chosen or the one they choose halfway through life may not imply agreement with all that that name was created to signify by the person.

So if I had a neighbor next door to me, which this is very feasible, who was biologically male, and everybody knew it, and he introduced himself to me as Sally — if I met him for the first time, and I saw him the next day, I might avoid calling him anything, but I would probably default to Sally. I probably would until there was a relationship that would go deeper to see whether I could be of any help. So that is one concession I am going to make because of the arbitrary nature of names. And then it is going to get a little more dicey and divisive.

(2) However, if in the office where we worked, I was compelled to identify every so-called transgender person by the pronoun they preferred in all of my emails, or conversations — suppose in emails and conversations I had used “she” for he or “he” for she — or I would get disciplined in the office, at that point I would say to my superiors, I cannot treat he’s as she’s and she’s as he’s.

“I will draw a line and say that I will not call he ‘she.’ I will not call she ‘he.’”

I cannot buy the whole package. I would be lying to call a he a “she.” I am not lying to call a male “Sally.” That is a culturally arbitrary, weird fluke. But I am lying if I say about a true Jim who wants to be called Sally, “she.” And it would be contrary to my understanding of sexuality and I would start looking for another job.

(3) The same thing applies to bathrooms, locker rooms, and hotel rooms where women identify as men or vice versa. I would refuse to have a roommate who said she was a man, even though I share a room in my travels with my assistant all the time. He is a man, and I know he is a man, and that is a perfectly normal thing to do. But if they insisted that I share the same bathroom, share the same locker room, or share the same hotel room, I am looking for another job.

So in summary, then, the question is: Are we forced to call them a name that they prefer, which I am probably going to submit to in the short run at least, or are we forced to identify them as a different sex than they really are? Naming may have a certain ambiguity and arbitrariness to it, but the language of he and she and the use of bathrooms and hotel rooms does not. And I will draw a line and say, I will not call he “she.” I will not call she “he.” And I will not intrude on the sexual privacy of a person of the opposite sex, or walk into a situation where they would intrude upon mine. The news that U.S. Central Command has lost a KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft over western Iraq is not just another military headline

CENTCOM confirmed that two aircraft were involved in the incident, with one KC-135 Stratotanker going down in friendly airspace while the other landed safely, and rescue operations are ongoing. Officials say the crash was not the result of hostile or friendly fire, but the timing is impossible to ignore. It is another reminder that the war now unfolding against Iran is already extracting a price in American lives and equipment — and the cost is climbing.

This tanker went down in the middle of Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing U.S. military campaign against Iran that has already seen thousands of strikes across the region. And the war has already produced American casualties. In the opening days of the conflict, Iranian missile and drone strikes targeted U.S. forces across the Middle East. A drone attack on a U.S. position in Kuwait alone killed multiple American soldiers, with additional service members later dying from their wounds or other incidents connected to the deployment.

FROM THE US CENTRAL COMMAND: At approximately 2 pm ET on March 12, a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft went down in western Iraq. All six crew members on board the aircraft have been confirmed deceased as rescue efforts continue. source

The toll has now reached at least eight American service members dead, with nearly 200 more wounded. If the crew of the KC-135 Stratotanker is not rescued, that will bring the death toll to anywhere between 11-14 soldiers since the war began.

These are not abstract numbers. They are:

sons
daughters
husbands
fathers
mothers

They are young Americans who left home believing they were serving their country, and now their families are burying them. War always comes with speeches about strategy and national security, but for the families receiving folded flags at Dover Air Force Base, the cost is painfully personal.

The conflict is expanding rapidly. U.S. forces have already conducted thousands of strikes against Iranian targets, and regional tensions are exploding from Lebanon to the Persian Gulf. Oil prices are surging, the Strait of Hormuz is under threat, and global markets are already reacting to the instability.

Meanwhile, the United States is burning through aircraft hours, munitions, and billions of dollars. In the first week alone, the war has already cost over $11 billion, and now another aircraft is gone. A KC-135 Stratotanker tanker is not just another airplane. It is a flying gas station, essential to keeping fighters and bombers in the air. Without tankers, modern air warfare stops. When one of them is suddenly lost in the middle of a major air campaign, it shows how intense the operational tempo has already become.

For now, Washington insists the war is going well. But history teaches a sobering lesson: wars are easy to start and hard to control. Every new headline — a drone strike, a missile attack, a downed aircraft — tells the same story. The price is rising. First came the missile strikes. then the first American casualties, now the loss of a refueling aircraft over Iraq with possible the entire crew lost. From The Mysterious Drone Sightings Over New Jersey In 2024 To Today’s California Warnings, The Iranian ‘Mothership’ Story Has Returned but with a twist

In December of 2024, a strange story began circulating about mysterious drones flying over New Jersey. Soon after, a claim surfaced that Iran had positioned a “mothership” off the East Coast launching drones toward the United States. The story spread quickly, the headlines ran with it, and social media exploded. But within days the Pentagon flatly denied it, satellite imagery showed Iranian drone ships still sitting near Iran, and the entire narrative quietly faded away. Fast forward to today and suddenly the same storyline is back — except now it is being discussed in connection with a potential Iranian drone attack on California from a vessel offshore which is quite real.

At first glance it sounds like the same rumor recycled again. But the reality is more complicated than that. The difference today is that the concept of a drone mothership is no longer theoretical. Iran actually built them. Over the past two years, Iran has begun converting large commercial container ships into floating drone bases capable of launching unmanned aircraft far from its own shores. One of the most notable examples is the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Shahid Bagheri, a converted container ship outfitted with a drone runway, helicopter facilities, missiles, and electronic warfare systems. In essence, Iran cannot build a traditional aircraft carrier, so it built something cheaper and far more unconventional — a drone carrier.

These ships are designed to stay at sea for extended periods and launch surveillance drones or strike drones hundreds of miles from the launch point. In military terms, this is called power projection, and it allows a nation with limited conventional naval power to extend its reach across entire oceans. So when intelligence analysts talk about the possibility of drones being launched from a vessel offshore, they are not inventing science fiction. The technology exists, but that does not mean the rumors are automatically true.

The United States monitors the world’s oceans with satellites, radar systems, and naval patrols. A large vessel approaching the American coastline would not go unnoticed, and drones entering U.S. airspace would trigger multiple detection systems. In other words, launching a drone attack on the U.S. mainland from offshore would be extremely risky and difficult to pull off without detection. And if there is one lesson from both the New Jersey incident and the current California warning, it is this: rumors can spread faster than facts, but real military technology often lies somewhere underneath the noise. Numerous reported sightings of the hairy Bigfoot beasts — which are said to be up to 10 feet tall — have been reported in Ohio, leaving believers on edge.

Every few years the legend of Bigfoot rises up out of the American woods like a ghost story that refuses to die, and this week the spotlight has landed on rural Ohio. Residents in Portage County say they have seen massive, hairy creatures moving through wooded areas at night, and at least one homeowner reported their dog trembling in fear after something large entered the backyard. Whether you believe it or not, stories like this never quite go away. But the interesting part is not the creature itself — it’s the endless fascination people have with mysterious beings hiding in the shadows. And for good reason, there’s lots of stuff lurking in those shadows.

The modern world prides itself on science, technology and skepticism, yet millions remain captivated by tales of cryptids like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, or mysterious “forest people.” Why? Because deep down people sense there is more to this world than what can be measured in a laboratory. The Bible tells us plainly that the unseen world is real. While people are scanning the tree line looking for Sasquatch, the far greater reality unfolding around us is the rapid approach of the end times. The world is racing toward a moment when deception will reach levels never seen before. The Bible warns that the coming Antichrist will operate through signs and wonders powerful enough to deceive the entire world. Personally, I do not know if Bigfoot is real or a psyop, but I know this. We are living in a world right now that is spiraling out of control so quickly that Bigfoot would be the least of our problems.

Bigfoot sightings light up the gloomiest corner of Ohio — residents report dogs are ‘shaking in fear’

FROM THE NY POST: At least seven Bigfoot sightings have been reported across northeast Ohio since Friday, according to the minds at the Bigfoot Society, with most of the encounters coming between Akron and Youngstown in Portage County. Some are even suspecting an entire family of Sasquatches could be migrating through the region.

One of the latest alleged incidents happened Monday evening in Streetsboro, with the witness insisting she hadn’t seen any of the other reports of the sightings.

“They were passing the Tinkers Creek area when a 6-and-a-half-foot lean, brown bigfoot appeared in their lane but going against the flow of traffic,” the Bigfoot Society’s Jeremiah Byron said. “They were so close that the witness said that her daughter could have reached out and hit the Bigfoot with her arm.”

“She was so freaked out she couldn’t turn around and go back — she is not a Bigfoot person,” Byron added.

Surprising no one, perhaps, none of the Bigfoot spotters have managed to snap a photo — despite the ubiquity of high-resolution cameras on modern smartphones. And no reports have been made with local police, either, according to the Canton Repository.

“Who would have known that cell phone cameras don’t exist in North East Ohio?” one person quipped on X in response to the Bigfoot Society’s post.

The sightings appeared to be progressing eastward — leading the Bigfoot Society to posit a “Green Highway” theory that a family of cryptids was migrating through the area.

“Based on these coordinates, the subjects appear to be using the Headwaters Trail greenbelt as a primary travel corridor,” the group said in an X post. “The variation in height (6ft to 10ft) and color (brown to black) suggests we are not tracking a single individual, but potentially a family group or multiple subjects migrating eastward.”

The first sighting came Friday when somebody claimed to see a 9-foot-tall beast in broad daylight before it ran off after being spotted, then Saturday an 8-foot creature was grunting in a wooded area around 11 p.m. — with a footprint reportedly being found.

Then there were four more sightings over the following days through Tuesday morning, one of which left somebody’s German shepherd “visibly shaking with fear” after encountering the alleged beast in a backyard, witnesses said. Others, however, thought that even if these beasts were real, they wouldn’t be around for long — given the rough reputation of northeast Ohio. “That boy is not going to make it past Youngstown,” one person said.
