President of South Korea Yoon Suk-Yeol stunned the world on Tuesday morning by declaring a state of ’emergency martial law’ because “subversive, anti-state elements” among the opposition are blocking his agenda.

Martial law commander Park An-su issued a statement on Tuesday declaring that “all political activities, including those of the National Assembly, local councils, political parties, and political associations, as well as assemblies and demonstrations, are strictly prohibited. All media and publications shall be subject to the control of the Martial Law Command.” The Rapture Ready Index says things are in ‘get ready to fly’ mode, and we whole-heartedly agree.

Earlier today, we told you how Emmanuel Macron, our pick for the biblical man of sin, is in Saudi Arabia signing a covenant with Mohammed bin Salman to broker peace in the Middle East. Now we see that South Korea has declared martial law on their own people, presumably to protect against ‘military aggression’ from pro-North Korean Communist agitators. Well, that may be true, and may not be true. It is also quite possible that President Yoon Suk-Yeol may have declared himself to be dictator over South Korea. South Korea Declares Martial Law to Foil ‘Subversive Anti-State Elements’

FROM BREITBART NEWS: Martial law has not been declared in South Korea since it emerged from military dictatorship in the 1980s. The South Korean Defense Ministry announced that key commanders from all of South Korea’s armed forces met to “strengthen emergency preparedness” and discuss implementation of Yoon’s order.

“I declare martial law to protect the Republic of Korea from the threats of North Korean communist forces, to immediately eradicate the unscrupulous pro-Pyongyang anti-state forces that pillage the freedom and happiness of our people and to protect free constitutional order,” Yoon said in an emergency press conference from his office in Seoul.

Yoon accused the opposition of “paralyzing the courts in the country by threatening the judges and impeaching prosecutors, and by attempting to remove the Interior Minister, top broadcasting regulator, chief of the Board of Audit and Inspection, and the Defense Minister.” Yoon also said the opposition’s move to cut $2.8 billion from the $483 billion 2025 national budget was a scheme to paralyze his government. The opposition wants to deny extra spending for the presidential office, prosecutors, and police requested in Yoon’s budget.

The president’s supporters say one reason for these cuts is to undermine court cases against opposition leader Lee Jae-myung, who was convicted of election law violations last month. Yoon referred to the National Assembly, where Lee’s Democratic Party holds 170 out of 300 seats, as a “hotbed of criminals” in his declaration of martial law.

On Monday, the speaker of parliament froze voting on the budget until December 10. Yoon said on Tuesday that martial law would remain in effect until he could “eradicate such anti-state forces and the culprits of the country’s ruin who have committed evil acts up until now.”

“The declaration of martial law will cause some inconveniences for good citizens who believed in and followed the constitutional values of free people, but we will focus on minimizing such inconveniences,” he said.

Yoon said these inconveniences were necessary to “guarantee the people’s freedom, safety and national sustainability against the actions of anti-state forces seeking to overthrow the system.”

President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a strategic partnership on Monday, December 2, aiming at deepening bilateral ties and de-escalating conflict in the Middle East, including Lebanon

Emmanuel Macron has been on the quiet side lately, but behind closed doors he’s been a whirlwind of activity. Take for example what he did yesterday with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia. Together the two end times luminaries signed a pact, a covenant if you will, regarding the future of peace in the Middle East, and the rebirth of Lebanon. While all the world is wondering after Donald Trump and the state of America, Macron and MBS are doing what they are destined to do, no, make that predestined to do. Macron and MBS sign strategic partnership, call for elections in Lebanon

FROM LE MONDE: After a meeting with Prince Mohammed, the de facto ruler of the oil-rich Gulf kingdom, Macron’s office announced the signing of a new partnership aimed at improving cooperation in “defense, energy transition, culture, mobility between the two countries.” The two leaders also “agreed to make every effort to contribute to de-escalation in the region,” including helping to consolidate the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.

“Together, they called for the holding of presidential elections in Lebanon with the aim of bringing the Lebanese people together and carrying out the reforms necessary for the stability and security of the country,” the statement from Macron’s office said.

Macron touched down in the Saudi capital Riyadh in the afternoon, where he was greeted by an honor guard of sword-holding servicemen and celebratory cannon fire as he disembarked from his plane. Macron’s visit began as France’s less than three-month-old minority government faced the prospect of being forced out by a vote of no confidence in the coming days.

Macron’s state visit is the first by a French president to Saudi Arabia since Jacques Chirac in 2006, cementing what the presidency calls a “very close relationship.”

The French president and Prince Mohammed will see how they “work together” on the conflicts shaking the region, with Lebanon at the “heart of the discussions,” the French presidency said in an earlier statement.

Macron is hoping for Saudi support for the Lebanese army, which is being deployed toward the border with Israel under the ceasefire but is poorly armed and trained. He will also try to win Saudi help to reverse the political disintegration that has plunged Lebanon’s government and economy into catastrophe. READ MORE
