CHOSEN ONE: President Trump’s Retweet Of ‘Second Coming Of God’ Comment Only Goes To Show What We Have Said About Him From The Beginning
Evangelicals who now say they ‘feel betrayed’ by Trumps ‘chosen one’ comments only prove that never knew who he really was when they started supporting him.
Evangelicals who now say they ‘feel betrayed’ by Trump’s comments only prove that never knew who he really was when they started supporting him
It brings a smile to my face as I watched evangelicals struggling to understand the words and actions of President Trump. Why? Because evangelicals didn’t understand why God placed him in office 3 years ago, and they still don’t understand in 2019 why he is there. Evangelicals, who are strong on evangelizing but tragically short on bible doctrine and prophecy, cannot fathom why Trump would call himself “the chosen one”, and retweet comments about him being the “second coming of God”. To the people like the man who wrote the article below, it is bewildering, but to us it is pretty clear.
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:6,7 (KJV)
Donald Trump as president is exactly what we said he would b when we first start writing about him in 2015 and ’16. We told you then that it was our considered opinion that God was placing Trump in power for two reasons. The first being to bless Israel and get something done for the Jewish people. This Trump has done is amazing fashion. Doing what no other president, Red or Blue, ever had the guts to do, Trump moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. And in typical Trump style, he did it on May 14th, the 70th anniversary of regathered Israel. Not stopping there, Trump then proceeded to proclaim Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and finally recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. For prophecy watchers it was a giddy time to say the least. Then we get to reason number two why God placed Trump in power. Judgment.
In our article entitled ‘THE GLOBAL SHAKING FROM A TRUMP PRESIDENCY WE WARNED YOU ABOUT LAST YEAR HAS ALREADY STARTED‘ we told that as we had felt that God placing Barack Obama into office was God’s judgement for national sin on America, God placing Trump into office is God’s judgment on the world. God is using Trump to shake American and the world right down to its very core, letting him be a catalyst for the ever-rising chaos and confusion we now see around the globe. God is shaking everything, and we will not see an end to that shaking right up to the moment we are taken up and out of here in the Pretribulaton Rapture of the Church.
Lastly, and please don’t miss this point, Donald Trump remains, despite evangelical fantasy, unsaved and headed for the fires of Hell as all unsaved people are at this very moment. His official ‘spiritual advisor’ is gospel pimp and fraud Paula White who makes a great show for the cameras but is all Laodicean fluff and nonsense. And because he is unsaved, President Trump will say things like he is the ‘chosen one’ and retweet comments calling him the ‘second coming of God’. He has no idea who God is because he has no relationship with Him. Pray for Trump’s soul.
Evangelicals like Washington’s Christian power brokers of ‘The Family‘ run by the late master marketeer Doug Coe have done this nation a great disservice with their powerless ‘love gospel’ as we see on display in their yearly ecumenical ‘National Prayer Breakfast‘ nonsense. Evangelicals who now say they ‘feel betrayed’ by Trump’s comments only prove that never knew who he really was when they started supporting him. Bible believers know who Trump is, and we have from the beginning, he is the chosen one. Chosen to bring judgement.
I’m an evangelist and a Trump voter. But Trump as the ‘second coming of God’ is blasphemous.
FROM GREENWICH TIME: Since President Donald Trump’s election, many in the evangelical community have lauded him, grateful for his work to protect and propel some of the Christian values we hold so dear. The support has been unwavering, as he enjoys high marks from about 70 percent of evangelicals, many of whom are so concerned with protecting their rights and key issues that they don’t want to do anything that might jeopardize that support for Trump and cause people to vote against him.
But perhaps one of Trump’s most disturbing steps came Wednesday, when the president, who claims to be a Christian, tweeted quotes of and therefore validated radio host’s Wayne Allyn Root words that “the Jewish people love Trump . . . like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God.”
Christians believe and profess that the only true “King of Israel” is God, as clearly stated in Isaiah 44:6, and that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, into this world. That makes the description of Trump as “the second coming of God” shocking, blasphemous and sacrilegious. The silence from my fellow evangelical colleagues, ministry partners and friends that has followed is deafening. Many of them refuse to call out moral failures on the right that they have so vehemently attacked on the left. In the evangelical community, we have come to believe incorrectly that any critique of Trump only serves to promote the party on the left. But embracing critiques proves we are objective, not blind to the flaws in political parties or our presidents.
“Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words. “President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world…and the Jewish people in Israel love him….
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 21, 2019
Trump is neither the “Second Coming of God” nor the “Messiah.” In repeating the profane quote, he gave a narcissistic endorsement and even thanked Root, a well-known conspiracy theorist, for his words.
…..all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone. And importantly, he’s good for everyone in America who wants a job.” Wow! @newsmax @foxandfriends @OANN
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 21, 2019
Messianic claims are dangerous, because God does not share glory with anyone.
Another historic leader, Herod Agrippa – the king of Judea after Jesus’ death, from 41 to 44 A.D. – once found himself in a similar situation. In the New Testament chapter of Acts 12, Herod was called “God.” Herod’s response? He took credit. The Lord’s response? He sent an angel to kill Herod. In Herod’s case, the Bible doesn’t say he repeated the title – only that he allowed it to be spoken. Perhaps the president can learn from Herod’s mistake.
I am a conservative evangelical who cast my vote for Trump for the very same reason many other evangelicals did: his conservative stance on issues concerning abortion and religious freedom. I visited Washington last October for a briefing at which faith leaders listened to White House officials address many policy issues.
Christians cannot proclaim their morals, family values and faith, then sit down when such values are tainted and misrepresented by the very leaders we say we support. Imagine for one minute if President Barack Obama had made similar claims during his administration. The reaction would be quite different.
Inconsistency is at least one reason I hear a growing antagonism toward evangelicals. As a full-time evangelist traveling all over the United States, I find it increasingly obvious that many people legitimately see evangelicals as hypocrites. Why? Because too often, we dismiss or excuse every indiscretion of the president by approving his other accomplishments.
Being fair and equitable does not mean simply applauding what many of us endorse about Trump, including his stance on abortion, his promotion of freedom of religion, his appointment of conservative judges and his aggressive support for Israel. We must also vocally denounce his blatantly egregious actions, including not only Wednesday’s tweets but also his consistently negative interactions and dialogue with people of different races, genders and ethnicities.
As evangelicals, we have taken a hard line on conservative values, but we have also been moving our standards to fit our narrative. If we are going to condone or condemn certain actions, policies or behaviors coming from the current administration, then we had better be ready to do the same with the next president. Otherwise, we will continue to lose credibility and display a polluted brand of Christianity that is word without deed – completely unlike that of the true Messiah we claim to follow. READ MORE

THE PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: What Every Bible Believer Needs To Know About The ‘Christ Is King’ Movement Being Used To Hijack The Last Days Church
The ‘Christ Is King’ Movement Shows How A Foundational Bible Truth Is Being Turned Into A Last Days Political Weapon For Christian Nationalism, Dominion Theology And Mother Rome
The phrase “Christ is King” is absolutely true when understood in its proper biblical setting. Jesus Christ is Israel’s Messiah, David’s greater Son, the rightful heir to the throne, and the One who will return at the Second Advent to rule this world with a rod of iron. The kingdoms of this world will become His, Jerusalem will be the city of the great King, and the nations will one day bow before Him whether they want to or not. But for those of us who are born again, we have been put into the body of Christ who is our Saviour, Redeemer and Friend. We will stand with Him on ‘that day’ when He becomes KING OF KINGS and inherits the kingdom prepared for Him from the foundation of the world.
“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18 (KJB)
On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, the modern “Christ Is King” movement, when connected to Christian Nationalism, is not merely a group of people saying something biblically true. It is often operating from a badly mixed doctrinal framework that blends kingdom-now theology, political dominion, Roman Catholic social order, Protestant reconstructionism, and nationalist identity politics into one confused religious-political package. Rightly divided, the problem is simple. They are trying to take language that belongs to Israel’s prophetic kingdom program and force it into the Church Age, then use it to sanctify earthly political power. Jesus Christ is King. No Bible believer disputes that. He is the promised King of Israel, the Son of David, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, and the One who will return to this earth to sit upon the throne of His father David. But that kingdom is not being established now through America, Rome, Washington, political movements, conservative activism, or religious nationalism. Where the ‘Christ Is King’ movement goes wrong is that it often takes a true prophetic title of Christ and turns it into a present-tense political weapon. It becomes less about the gospel of the grace of God and more about asserting religious identity, reclaiming national power, confronting perceived enemies, and building a “Christian civilization.” That is not Paul’s doctrine for the Body of Christ. Paul does not present Jesus Christ to the Church primarily as our political King. He presents Him as our Saviour, our Head, our Redeemer, our Life, and our Blessed Hope. Today we show you the heresy of the corrupt Christian Nationalism and Dominion Theology movements that wants an earthly kingdom now, without an heavenly King to physically rule over it. They see themselves as the king, and that’s a problem.

Watchdog Group Says Combat Unit Commanders Telling Troops That Donald Trump Has Been ‘Anointed By Jesus To Light The Fire In Iran For Armageddon’
Combat Unit commanders have been accused of telling troops that Donald Trump is anointed by God and the war with Iran is to bring in Armageddon
Well, it’s official, we’ve arrived in Crazy Town, and it’s exactly as you would expect it to be. Operation Epic Fury is revealing itself to be a hastily-arranged and very poorly planned operation that Trump now says could last for many months. And earlier today a religious watchdog group received over 200 complaints from soldiers being told by their Combat Unit commanders that President Trump has been ‘anointed to light the fire in Iran that will bring Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ’. Wow, are we there already? It would seem so, Now don’t shoot the messenger, I don’t make the news, I’m just telling you what’s going on here on Day 2,178 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve. It’s Christian Nationalism out of control.
“Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.” Daniel 11:39 (KJB)
If even a fraction of these reports are accurate that commanders inside the Department of War are framing geopolitical conflict as the spark that lights Armageddon and preparing troops for the return of Jesus Christ — then we are looking at something profoundly dangerous. Not because prophecy isn’t real, and not because Jesus Christ isn’t coming back. He absolutely is. But because the Church has no business trying to manufacture the Second Coming through military power. Let’s be absolutely clear: the return of Jesus Christ is not triggered by American foreign policy, presidential ambition, or battlefield rhetoric. The prophetic timeline is set by God Almighty, not by generals, politicians, or Christian Nationalist enthusiasm. Armageddon is not something a nation prepares for. It is something God executes on His schedule.
“Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.” Isaiah 40:15 (KJB)
Christian Nationalism, at its core, attempts to merge the mission of the Church with the power of the State. It confuses patriotism with piety and assumes that America plays the central prophetic role in God’s end-times program. It does not. America joins all the other nations of the world to come against Israel. America is not Israel, the United States is not the New Jerusalem, and the United States Constitution, however wonderful we might think it to be, is not Scripture. If Donald Trump has been anointed by God to do anything, at this point, it looks like he might be the one to trigger WWIII.
Trump’s commanders tell troops to prepare for Jesus’ return and issue chilling Armageddon prophecy
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), a non-profit civil rights watchdog, said it has received 110 complaints from troops since the war broke out on Saturday. The complaints span more than 40 different units across 30 military sites, first reported on veteran journalist Jonathan Larsen’s Substack. A non-commissioned officer (NCO) wrote to the MRFF Monday that his combat-unit commander had claimed Trump was ‘anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.’
‘He urged us to tell our troops that this was “all part of God’s divine plan” and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ,’ the NCO said.
The NCO, anonymized by MRFF, said they were writing on behalf of 15 others, including 11 Christians, a Muslim and a Jew. The troops are currently outside the Iran theater but on ‘ready-support’ status, meaning they could be deployed at any time. The NCO said that their commander’s comments ‘destroy morale and unit cohesion and are in violation of the oaths we swore to support the Constitution.’
A White House official denied that commanders were giving orders based on end times scripture, adding that the war had three aims: destroy Iran’s missiles, munitions industry and navy. The Pentagon did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The religious tenor at the top of the military is not confined to the battlefield.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a born-again Christian, holds monthly prayer meetings at the Pentagon and attends a weekly Bible study at the White House led by a preacher who argues that God blesses those who support Israel. Trump’s longtime spiritual adviser, Paula White, has made similar claims for decades, urging Christians to ‘stand with Israel’.
Pastor John Hagee, who visited the White House multiple times during Trump’s first term, told his congregation on Sunday that the war with Iran signaled we are nearing the end times. ‘Prophetically, we’re right on cue,’ Hagee said. ‘Sirens are wailing and prophecies written thousands of years ago are stepping onto the world stage.’
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee claimed that Trump would receive a message from God shortly before the strikes on Iran in June.
‘I believe you will hear from heaven and that voice is far more important than mine or anyone else’s,’ he wrote to Trump. ‘You did not seek this moment. This moment sought you.’
The killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a US-Israeli joint strike on Saturday has plunged the Middle East into crisis. Iranian forces have launched missiles and drones at US embassies and bases across the Middle East, as well as against Israel and America’s Arab allies including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Trump initially said the war would last four to five weeks but has since warned it could go on ‘far longer.’ READ MORE

MAGA Christian Nationalists Are Wildly Applauding Donald Trump’s Territorial Ambitions To Fold Canada And Greenland Into Some ‘Greater America’ Dystopia
MAGA Christian Nationalists Are Cheering As President Donald Trump Floats Absorbing Canada And Greenland Into A ‘Greater America’ dystopia
On social media this week, self-described MAGA Christian nationalists erupted in applause after Donald Trump once again floated the idea of bringing Greenland—and now even Canada—under the control of the United States. What once sounded like typical Trump negotiating bravado has begun to harden into something more ideological, and we dare say, more sinister: the vision of a ‘Greater America’. You’re hearing it here for the first time, but I promise you, it will soon be coming from official White House messaging. It was a bad idea when Hitler tried it, and it’s an even worse idea now.
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3 (KJB)
History is littered with grand national visions that promised security, restoration, and destiny through expansion. In the 20th century, Europe watched a similar dream unfold under the banner of a ‘Greater Germany’, complete with mythic language, strongman leadership, and the promise of national revival with global results. It did not end well. Yet online today, Trump’s rhetoric is not being met with caution, but celebration. How can this be, have we learned nothing from the past 100 years of human history? Evidentially not.
To his most ardent supporters, Trump is not merely a former president pushing boundaries. He is portrayed as a providential strongman—a Cyrus-like figure—who will restore American dominance, redraw borders, and impose order on a crumbling world. But Scripture issues a direct warning against placing hope in political saviors. Nevertheless, the louder the rhetoric becomes, the louder the applause grows. Canada is dismissed as ‘weak and unserious’. Greenland is spoken of as a ‘strategic prize’ waiting to be claimed. Critics are brushed aside as globalists, traitors, or faithless cowards. What is absent from the discussion is any appreciable amount of biblical discernment.
Just in case you weren’t exactly sure where world wars come from, this is as good a place as any. https://t.co/sZyakxeDis
— Now The End Begins (@NowTheEndBegins) January 12, 2026
The Bible does not teach that America is a covenant nation. Nor does it authorize Christians in the Church Age to pursue national expansion as though it were God’s work. That calling belonged exclusively to Old Testament Israel under a theocratic covenant—not to the body of Christ. The 7 Mountains Mandate has nothing common with Pauline doctrine. Zero. In fact, we warned you back in 2024 before Trump’s re-election that the majority of his MAGA followers were Charismatic Christian Nationalists, but sadly, very few listened.
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” Philippians 3:20 (KJB)
The language surrounding this moment is becoming increasingly messianic, with political ambition framed as destiny. Territorial growth is spoken of as righteousness. Power itself is treated as proof of divine favor—despite the explicit rejection of that very mindset in scripture.
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” John 18:36 (KJB)
The danger is not merely political enthusiasm—it is political idolatry. Scripture warns that as the end of the Church Age approaches, men will prefer fables over truth and charisma over doctrine.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (KJB)
A ‘Greater America’ may sound bold, reassuring, even patriotic. But the Bible reminds believers that our battle is not fought with borders, ballots, or brute force.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJB)
Supporting a political candidate is one thing. Recasting him as a divinely appointed architect of national expansion is something else entirely. When Christians cheer the absorption of nations as though it were God’s redemptive plan, they have confused nationalism with Christianity—and power with providence.
America does not need to become greater in size. The Church does not need a strongman. And Jesus Christ does not need a human geopolitical empire to reign.
“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4 (KJB)
Even at this late hour, history whispers warnings for those willing to listen. Grand visions of national destiny have a way of demanding unquestioned loyalty, silencing dissent, and baptizing ambition in religious language. If you support Trump’s ‘Greater America’ just remember that history is against you every bit as much as the Bible is against you. The Bible calls believers to something a lot higher, something eternal. The answer has never been a Greater America. It has always been the gospel of Jesus Christ—rightly divided, faithfully preached, and boldly believed until He comes, and He’ll be here sooner than you think.

The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT…TO THE FIGHT!!!
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJB)
