We Are One Week Away From Celebrating 50,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments And Scripture Portions Given Out Through Our Free Bible Programs
Thanks to your prayers and giving, NTEB is sending out thousands and thousands of King James Bibles across America and around the world.
Today I find myself reflecting of where the Free Bible Program started and where it is today. We are just about one week from being able to celebrate 50,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions being given out for free to souls in need. These Bibles are being shipped out all across America, and in nearly a dozen other countries as well. Why do we do it? Because Hell is real, lost people go there, and the word of God, the Holy Bible, is able to rescue them from burning for all eternity.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23 (KJB)
Next week I will be attending, Lord willing, the Annual Scripture Conference at BL&MF in Shelbyville, Tennessee, and I will be speaking with them there about creating an NTEB-branded King James Bible complete with instructions to the new believer about where to start their study. I think this is a necessary next step in both our Free Bible Program and our Bibles Behind Bars program. So please keep me in prayer for traveling mercies and for the Lord to anoint my time there.

- Adair County Regional Jail, Columbia, KY, USA – 110 Bibles
- South Texas ICE Processing Center – 1,000 Spanish Bibles and 100 English Bibles
- Stephen Mccarroll-Gospel Bus Ministries, UK – 45 Bibles
- Joseph Harp Correctional Center, Lexington, KY – 48 Bibles
- St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, Florida – 1,512 English Bibles, 120, Spanish Bibles, 44 Ruckman Reference Bibles
- Robert Day, Calvary Church, Florida – 80 Bibles and 5,000 gospel tracts to Hurricane victims
- Hundreds of Ruckman Reference Bibles and Spanish Bibles to individuals in America and overseas
- $7,500 given churches to purchase and hand deliver food, water and personal items for victims of Hurricane Ian
In total, over 6,000 King James Bibles sent out to places desperate to receive them, at a cost of over $30,000, and that’s just recently. Such a precise, targeted effort can only be possible by the prayers of the saints for the Lord to do something, and by the generous giving and support that you all give to these programs. Sending Bibles out to particular people and institutions who request them is a much more expensive way to go because they are not part of mass bulk shipments like the 12,000 New Testaments we sent to Ukraine on a boat. Everything is to the individual, every order is a one-off unique order. But brothers and sisters, knowing that we have an open door to directly put King James Bibles into the hands of people who need them is a blessing beyond compare.

The Massive Goose Creek Correctional Center Located In Wasilla Alaska Needs King James Bibles And Have Reached Out To Us To Supply Them
The Goose Creek Correctional Center all the way up in Wasilla Alaska has an urgent need for King James Bible and they’ve turned to us for help. TO THE FIGHT!!!
Goose Creek Correctional Center, located in Wasilla, AK, is the Adult medium-security Alaska State prison that houses approximately 1536 detainees. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Alaska Department of Corrections. When they reached out to us this morning, my first thought was “wow, Bibles Behind Bars in Alaska!” The Lord hasn’t just opened a door for us, He has kicked it wide open and invites us to come work for Him while it is day. I’m all in, how about you?
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJB)
Chaplain Colter Patterson emailed us today and said this: “We are the largest prison in the state with a very large rollover of inmate population. Many inmates desire a Bible when coming to the facility, and we make them available as supply allows. We have around 1300 inmates currently, and rely on Bible donations for our non-state funded chaplaincy program.” Goose Creek makes the 12th prison facility that has reached out to us in the past few weeks, asking for and looking to receive King James Bibles. Thousands of Bibles will be going out shortly to all these different facilities, and we need you to pray for each and every one of the Bibles the inmates will be receiving.

Free Bible Program
The Minnesota Correction Facility At Stillwater In Bayport Minnesota Becomes The Latest Detention Center To Reach Out To Bibles Behind Bars
Built in 1914, the MCF-Stillwater is the state’s largest close-security institution for adult males. The facility has seven living units inside and also has a minimum-security unit outside the main perimeter.
The role of MCF-Stillwater in the DOC is to provide men with educational, vocational and industrial programming opportunities during incarceration. Educational programs include adult basic education, literacy, and general educational development (GED). Vocational programs include carpentry, welding, machining, boiler operation, and electrician. Stillwater also provides transitional life skills, behavioral change, and restorative justice programming. Today they reached out to us here at Bibles Behind Bars and asked if we could help them with Bibles.
“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.” John 17:6 (KJB)
Chaplain Scott Westphal wrote to us earlier today with a short but straight to the point email. He said “We are in need of King James Version bibles. Large print. The guys are asking for them but we do not have any on hand.” He is the chaplain over at MCF-Stillwater, and sending Bibles to his facility will be the first open door the Lord has given us in the state of Minnesota. MCF-Stillwater is home to The Prison Mirror, the nation’s oldest, continuously-operated inmate newspaper. Founded in 1887, The Prison Mirror has won many national awards for outstanding penal journalism. Now they will receive the ‘good news’ of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as found in the pages of the King James Bible.

Free Bible Program
Bibles Behind Bars Is Right Now Working To Supply 10 Jails And Prisons With King James Bibles And Gospel Literature, And We Need Your Help!
If you believe in sending out Bibles to inmates, keeping the supply line open for chaplains, pastors and personal workers to have what they need when they minister in the jails, then come help us. We need you!
Yesterday, NTEB’ers Dana and Mike Bragdon delivered hundreds of King James Bibles in English and Spanish, as well as boxes of gospel literature and scripture portions to the Floyd County Jail in Rome, Georgia. They were gratefully received by Chaplain David Thornton with open arms. This was the first Bibles Behind Bars delivery made through the brand-new NTEB North Georgia Bible Distribution Center, and we’ll tell you more about that in future articles. Thanks to your prayers and support, this Bible sending outreach continues to grow and expand. Praise the Lord!

Right now, we are working on suppling a record 10 jails and detention facilities with a full-spectrum assortment of King James Bibles, Spanish Bibles, scripture portions and gospel tracts, all at the same time. NTEB’er Charlton Head, who you remember from the NTEB Relief Convoy to Asheville, North Carolina, is organizing the situation on the ground up in Georgia, along with Mike and Dana, and Cindy and Steve Britt. We are also working directly with Humberto Gomez, translator of the Reina-Valera Gomez Bible, to expand our supply of Spanish Bibles and tracts.
