Jordan’s King Abdullah has warned that should Israel move forward with plans to annex parts of the West Bank, it would lead to a “massive conflict” with his country, and did not rule out pulling out of Amman’s peace deal with the Jewish state.

As you read this story coming out of Israel today, I want to make you aware of the biblical sub-plot simmering just below the surface. King Abdullah II is the king of the nation of Jordan, the very same country where Selah Petra is located. Regular listeners of our weekly bible study programs know that Selah Petra is the place where the Jews flee to for safety at the start of the great Tribulation in Matthew 24. Judea is the main location where the Jews are when this event takes place. Israel right now wants to annex Judea and Samaria otherwise known as the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and King Abdullah wants to stop it.

Whew! Got all that? Now do you see why we say that your King James Bible is more up-to-date than tomorrow’s headlines?

“The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. The entire world is literally bursting at the seams under the weight of end times bible prophecy forcing its way ever forward in order to reach its prophesied fulfillment. It is fascinating to me to watch all these leaders in the Middle East, working and scheming and planning to assert their will, when if they would just believe what is written in the scripture of truth, they would already know what is going to happen and how it all works out. You and I who read and believe the bible know exactly how this all works out, every bit of it.

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Joel 3:1,2 (KJB)

Memo to King Abdullah II: You say, King Abdullah, that there will be a ‘massive conflict’ coming if Israel takes back Judea and Samaria, and you are 100% correct. Jordan’s king warns of ‘massive conflict’ if Israel annexes land in West Bank

FROM TIMES OF ISRAEL: In an interview published Friday by the German daily Der Spiegel, Abdullah insisted that a two-state solution was “the only way forward” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. “What would happen if the Palestinian National Authority collapsed? There would be more chaos and extremism in the region. If Israel really annexed the West Bank in July, it would lead to a massive conflict with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” he said, when asked by his interviewer about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s intention to “take advantage of the opportunity that US President Donald Trump has created to seize large parts of Palestine.”

“I don’t want to make threats and create an atmosphere of loggerheads, but we are considering all options. We agree with many countries in Europe and the international community that the law of strength should not apply in the Middle East,” the king added, when asked if his country — one of only two Arab nations, along with Egypt, to have signed a peace deal with Israel — could suspend that treaty.

Jordan has a large Palestinian population and is deeply invested in promoting a two-state solution. “Leaders who advocate a one-state solution do not understand what that would mean,” he told the German daily.

The king’s comments echoed remarks he made in a September 2019 interview, warning that a West Bank annexation would have “a major impact on the Israeli-Jordanian relationship.” At the time, he stopped short of threatening to cut diplomatic ties.

More recently, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi reportedly urged his counterparts in several countries to dissuade Jerusalem from its annexation plans. Implementing them would be “devastating,” would mark the death of a two-state solution, and could have explosive consequences for the region, he was said to have warned his interlocutors. But again, no word about ending the peace deal.

Friday’s interview was published hours before European Union foreign ministers were set to meet virtually to consider potential measures against Israel over its plan to annex parts of the West Bank. Jordan has been lobbying the EU to take “practical steps” to make sure annexation doesn’t happen. In a statement, Safadi “stressed the need for the international community and the European Union in particular to take practical steps that reflect the rejection of any Israeli decision to annex.”

Several European nations led by France, and including Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Spain and Luxembourg, have reportedly expressed support for threats of punitive action in a bid to deter the new Israeli government — set to be sworn in on Sunday — from carrying out the move with a green light from Washington.

On Tuesday EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said annexation plans and the union’s response to them would be “the most important item on the agenda” of the meeting. READ MORE

Cardinal Dolan delivers a ‘Ramadan message’ shaming all Catholics into praying for ‘our Muslim brothers and sisters’ continuing the work Pope Francis has done with his Islam Alliance

As Pope Francis lays in his hospital bed, and quite possibly his death bed as his condition continues to worsen, Cardinal Timothy Dolan took to his Podcast to deliver a stunning message on the Muslim holiday of Ramadan that starts today. In that message, Dolan refers them as “our Muslim brothers and sisters”, sparking quite the controversy online. Calling Muslims as “brothers and sisters” implies there is a bond connecting the two religions that are very far apart. Yes, not as far as you might think when you consider the alliance forged by Pope Francis over the past 12 years between Islam and the Roman Catholic Church. Has Ash Wednesday become the ‘Catholic Ramadan’, as Cardinal Dolan suggests? It sure has and a whole lot more than that, and that’s the memo.

Cardinal Dolan said he was giving this message to “shame Catholics” into becoming more like Muslims, and concluded his fiery missive by saying “let’s unite with our Muslim brothers and sisters in prayer and fasting.” Dolan even went so far to call the Roman observance of Ash Wednesday as the ‘Catholic Ramadan’. Wow, there’s a lot to unpack there. So let’s do a quick review of the foundation for all this laid by Pope Francis. So you see, the “shocking message” delivered by Cardinal Dolan is absolutely on target with the official stance the Roman Catholic pope has taken on Mohammed’s religion of Allah. Even if Pope Francis does not survive his current health crisis, the work he has put in place with Islam and the Muslims will live on into the arrival of Antichrist in the time of Jacob’s trouble.

The James V. Allred Unit In Texas has an urgent need for King James Bibles in their facility that houses more than 4,000 inmates

We got an email from the chaplain at the James V. Allred Unit in Texas, a 4,000 inmate prison, and he says they have an urgent needs for Bibles. “The Allred unit has 4000 incarcerated men. I’d like to request 300 bibles (or as many cases which is close to 300 Bibles) for our distribution shelves. Thank you for your consideration.” The 300 Bibles we hopefully will send to the Allred Unit will join forces with the 500 Bibles requested by Chaplain CF Hazelwood, also in Texas, in the process of being sent out.
