I don’t know what 2022 holds in store, only the Lord does, but suffice to say we need to be ready at all times to witness the gospel of the grace of God.

From a ministry perspective, 2021 was an incredible year that saw an amazing expansion of both our NTEB Free King James Bible and Gospel Tract Program, as well as our Gospel Witness Billboard Program. That has continued here in the first week of 2022 as the Lord continues to do far above anything we ask or think. So maybe it’s time to start asking the Lord to do even more to help us work to see souls saved and the saved get on fire to get something done for Him while we still can.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJB)

On our Rightly Dividing King James Bible Study program last night, we talked about the possibility of coming persecutions and tribulations in 2022, and even if that doesn’t come here in America, it is still something we should be prepared for anyway. We also talked about the number of King James Bible and tracts we distributed in 2021 through the ministry of the NTEB Bible Believers Bookstore and BL&MF.

2021 Free King James Bible & Gospel Billboard Programs – Complete

10,000 King James Bibles sent out to pastors and missionaries on foreign fields through BL&MF in Shelbyville, TN.
1,134 Ruckman Reference King James Study Bibles sent out to individuals, evangelists and street preachers around the world.
1,134 King James Bible Companions (included with every free Ruckman Reference King James Bible we ship from the Bookstore).
141 Spanish King James Bibles.
34,375 NTEB Gospel Tracts in English (every free Ruckman Reference Bible gets a free 25-count NTEB gospel tract pack.)
3,525 Spanish Chick Tracts (every free Spanish Bible gets a free 25-count Spanish Chick gospel tract pack.)
48 Boxes of Free 300-count (14,400 tracts) NTEB Street Preacher Gospel Tracts to various ministries and street preachers.
7,000+ NTEB Gospel Tracts personally handed out to people walking through downtown Saint Augustine during events like our 2021 Camp Meeting and Nights Of Lights Street Ministry.

Glory to God, look at those numbers! These Bibles and gospel tracts are being sent to prison ministries in Texas, street ministries in Australia, to Bible study groups in the Netherlands, home churches in the Bronx, church in the Philippines and Vietnam, and just about every other place you could imagine, and some places you likely have never heard of. But all this is only possible because of the fervent prayers and faithful giving of the Body of Christ at Now The End Begins. In 2021, over 2,200 of you donated either through PayPal, WayGiver or mail in a check or cash. Sometimes it was as little as $1.00 and other times in the thousands, but whatever the amount (we let the Lord decide), all this is only possible because born again Bible believers got on fire for the Lord with a burden to see lost souls get saved. Amen!

I don’t know what 2022 holds in store, only the Lord does, but suffice to say we need to be ready at all times to witness the gospel of the grace of God. It is my prayer that you who already support these much-needed outreach programs will continue to support them, and I pray that many more will join our number to do something that will make it through the fire of the Judgment Seat of Christ. These programs are very valuable but not cheap, when you factor in the printing costs, shipping costs and employees to make it all possible it’s between $10-$15,000 every month to do it on this level. And you know what? I hope and pray that that level will increase and the Lord will let us all do more for His glory, for the salvation of souls and the edifying of the Body of Christ. The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail In West Virginia is the latest detention center to request King James Bibles for their inmates

So far in 2026, thousands of King James Bibles, scripture portions and books have been flying out the door, with new requests coming in on a daily basis. The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail holds just under 400 inmates, and Chaplain Elder has requested a Bible for each inmate. Up in north Georgia at the Murray County Jail, Chaplain Rick has run out of the thousands of Bibles we’ve sent him last year, and is requesting more. What a blessing to see the gospel being preached, souls being saved and the word of God going out!

From all the testimonies we’ve been getting, right around 1,000 souls have heard the gospel, believed it, and were given a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. I am sure the actual numbers are much higher than that, but those are the ones we’ve directly heard about. When you donate to this outreach, you are first and foremost keeping the supply lines open for all the pastors, chaplains and volunteers who go to the jails and prisons to preach. Bibles Behind Bars is one of the very last jail and prison supply ministries who send out the King James Bibles and books exclusively. Chaplain Farwell Of The Elmira Correctional Facility In Upstate New York Writes To Tell Us Of The ‘Desperate Need’ Of Their Inmates For Copies Of The Word Of God

The Elmira Correctional Facility in update New York has an urgent need for hundreds of copies of God’s preserved word

Elmira Correctional is a maximum ‘A facility’ in upstate NY, writes Chap Farwell. He says “We house between 1500 – 1600 incarcerated men. Approximately 600 are in our Reception Center either as parole violators, recidivists, or first time offenders awaiting classification that will send them to another correctional facility to serve their sentences and to be enrolled into a program designed to correct their behavior. Most don’t have any faith life at all even though their families may have. However, when the reality of being incarcerated hits them they reach out in desperation, which is where we as chaplains come in.” Chaplain Farwell is serving on the front lines, and Bibles Behind Bars is keeping his supply lines open.

“But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Genesis 39:21 (KJB)

Chap went on to say “Most ask for Bibles and for many it is their first one. As chaplains, we direct them to scripture and let them know that God loves them and quite possibly this is God’s plan for them. This is where they can encounter God, but they have to come to know God and the Bible helps them to do their part. We give these Bibles freely in the hope that they will give God a chance to speak to them and they can speak to God. We are constantly seeking Bibles and if you can be a source to provide them we would be most grateful. We especially need large print. Whatever you can do would be most appreciated. God bless you for your work.” Christian, God has called us to stand in the gap for the ‘least of these’ and to give them a copy of God’s preserved word. Come help us to do that, we need you!

Chaplain Marshall At The Leon County Detention Facility Says The Need For Bibles Is Urgent As Inmates Are Being Turned Away From Lack Of Supply

The Leon County Detention Facility in Florida is struggling with an inability to keep their inmates supplied with Bibles as the need is great but the supplies are few

As many of you know, our whole family was hit with the Subclade K super flu this week, and all activity here at NTEB basically stopped. Lori and I want to thank everyone for your fervent and effectual prayer for our recovery. This is why we are a praying people, so thank you, everyone. Well, while I am not yet fully recovered, I thought I had better dust off the keyboard and write about something. Nothing in the news really interested me, and then I saw an email come over from Chaplain Marshall at the Leon County Detention Facility in Florida. What he had to say snapped me right to attention. Time to write.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 (KJB)

Dr. Marshall’s email says “We really need your help. We are struggling with constant requests for the bible. We have over 1000 inmates. I am reaching out because we should never have to turn an inmate away who is seeking Gods word. The need is urgent so please send us as many bibles as possible on an ongoing basis. May God Bless You. We can only accept PAPER Bibles.” This is the very reason for which Bibles Behind Bars was raised up for, to send God’s preserved word into as many jail and prison cells as possible. They need a thousand Bibles are quickly as possible, and with your help we can do it. The cost to send these Bibles out is $4,550, please pray about joining with us to get this done. Bibles Behind Bars is the chaplain’s lifeline that allows them to do the work God has called them to do. Help us to keep the gospel supply lines open!
