You won’t call for it, there’s no charge for the ride and there’s no return trip, are you ready to take the last Uber?

The other day while driving through town, we passed a funeral home with the doors wide open, and the back of the hearse was pressed into service. One of the kids as we passed quietly said ‘hey, the last Uber!’ which at first didn’t register with me. When I asked what he meant, Liam said “the back of that hearse has a sticker that says the last Uber’. What was that all about? Was it a joke, was it a warning, or perhaps a little bit of both? My message today is called ‘The Last Uber’, and one day that ride will pull up to your door, and ready or not, you will be compelled to get in. Last Sunday, my message asked the question “Does God Have A Plan For Your Life?”, and I answered it by adding “Yes, he does but you probably won’t like it”. Today we follow that up with our look at what all of us will do one day of the Lord tarries, a ride on the last Uber known as death. Your life insurance policy and your retirement plans have not prepared you to take this last ride, only the preserved word of God can do that. This message will warn the lost, and encourage the saints while we work and wait patiently for the Lord Jesus to come for us as He promises He will do.

• There is no return. “But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” 2 Samuel 12:23 (KJB)

New requests for King James Bibles, books, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts come in on a daily basis, come help us meet this need!

King James Bibles have been going out in abundance in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 19 different jails and prisons in states from south Florida the way up to Alaska by the Russian border. In addition to thousands of Bibles, we also started the brand-new NTEB Book Box which sends a dozen copies each of ‘Justified Outlaw’, ‘What Must I Do To Be Saved?’ and the ‘Biblical Guide To Soulwinning’, sent to the chaplains to hand out and use at their discretion. These books are a huge help in ministering to the inmates prior to salvation, and a great discipleship tool for after a soul gets saved.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (KJB)

Something else we started doing in 2025 is fulfilling requests for a single Bible sent to a specific inmate, usually one that comes from a burdened mother, father or family friend of the prisoner. We never had much success with doing that in the past as one-off Bibles usually got sent back, but in 2025 all of the single Bibles sent out reached their targets. We have more than a few tear-stained ‘thank you’ letters on our desk that will attest to that fact, letters that’ll break your heart as you read them.

Bill Gates abandons Climate Change Movement and realigns himself with the mob of tech billionaires who have attached themselves to Donald Trump

Bill Gates is a man of no principles, and as such can change his mind and switch his allegiance at the drop of a hat if it means furthering the vast pile of wealth he continues to accumulate. For years now, Gates has championed Climate Change, writing checks to advance the Liberal agenda, through his non-profit Breakthrough Energy. But now he’s shuttered the part of it that lobbied for Climate Change causes like the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS Act, and the Infrastructure Law. What’s behind his sudden change of heart? He wants a seat at the table in the new Trump administration, and he happily dumped Climate Change to do it. That’s the memo.

Why have so many tech billionaire attached themselves to Donald Trump? Because this time around, he is going to give them everything they ask for, that’s why. Trump’s trumpeting of projects like Stargate are proof of this assertion. The tech billionaires smell blood in the water, and they have seized thier opportunity to become tech trillionaires. Man-made Climate Change was always a made up cudgel with which the billionaires beat us into submission, but they no longer need these contrivances, they now have access to something that money cannot buy – real power. Climate Change, the Pandemic, the mRNA gene editing jab, biometric ID, these are all things the tech billionaire elites come up with to enrich themselves while enslaving us. You going to see some very strange things with some very unusual alliances in this new Trump administration.

Bill Gates Gives Up on Climate Change

FROM FUTURISM: In decades past, as the effects of climate change slowly became undeniable, some looked to the super-rich — the billionaires with enough cash to really make a splash — for solutions. They backed green energy campaigns and carbon capture programs, pushed plastics recycling and climate change messaging. New products hit the market as ethical consumption became the rule of the day: electric vehicles, solar panels, reusable bags, carbon-neutral dryer balls.

By the early 2020s, billionaires had positioned themselves as the masters of climate change policy, taking advantage of their great fortunes to become indispensable to environmentalism.

Now, however, many of those same billionaires are pulling support at an alarming rate. And Bill Gates — Microsoft founder, sixth richest man in the world, and alleged sex pest — is the latest among them. New reporting by Heatmap is signaling the end of a “major chapter in climate giving,” as Breakthrough Energy — Gates’ climate change nonprofit — has locked the doors on its policy and advocacy office, laying off dozens of employees throughout Europe and the US.

Breakthrough’s lobbying was central to advancing climate policy through legislation championed by the Biden administration, including the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS Act, and the bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Though the billionaire’s for-profit green energy investments at companies like Arnergy and Mission Zero Technologies remain in place, Breakthrough’s belt-tightening will very likely end the nonprofit’s grant writing efforts.  That’s a major blow to climate nonprofits, and further evidence that, for all their feel-good bluster, the mega-rich never forget their bottom line.

Ever since billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump won his second presidential election, tech barons like Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai, and of course Elon Musk have made no bones about shedding their progressive skin and embracing the new administration.

Gates, too, is cozying up to the returning president. In early January, the Microsoft founder spent three hours dining with his fellow billionaire, telling the Wall Street Journal he was “frankly impressed” by Trump’s grasp on the issues dear to him. Though many no doubt feel betrayed by what seems like a sudden rightward turn, billionaires like Gates have always behaved like wolves in sheep’s clothing, prioritizing their fortunes above all.
