The Minor Prophets, also known as ‘The Twelve’, deliver a mighty end times punch in bringing you the info on how the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation will play out

The Old Testament stands on 3 major pillars – the Law, the Writings, and the Prophets, something that is definitely defined by Jesus Himself in the New Testament. Genesis to Deuteronomy gives us the Law of Moses, the writings which is primarily Psalms and Proverbs, and the Prophets which start with Isaiah, the biggest one of them all, and ends with Malachi. The ‘big three’ or Major Prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and ‘the Twelve’, or the 12 Minor Prophets, start with Hosea and ends with Malachi. They are called ‘minor prophets’ because of the shortness of their books, but make no mistake, when it comes to the end times, they pack a major wallop!

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” Luke 24:44 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we start with the prophet Hosea, and work our way down the line, in order, to read the writings of a fascinating group of men known as ‘The Twelve’. One main thing they all have in common is that they all prophesy concerning the end times of Jacob’s trouble, with a focus on the events of the great Tribulation. Jesus says in Hebrews “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”, and this is the sum and substance that make up the writings of these amazing Minor Prophets.

ON THIS EPISODE: We started this series back in the end of 2024, taking an intensive look at the 12 minor prophets from Hosea to Malachi. It’s been a blessing, and tonight we come to the 12th and final minor prophet, the prophet Malachi. Malachi has a powerful and potent message, he prophesies of the coming of Jesus Christ at the First Advent! Not only that, Malachi offers stinging rebukes to the Jews and Israel for not doing what the LORD set them apart to do. And in that, we see the reason for the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation that is still yet to come. Cardinal Dolan delivers a ‘Ramadan message’ shaming all Catholics into praying for ‘our Muslim brothers and sisters’ continuing the work Pope Francis has done with his Islam Alliance

As Pope Francis lays in his hospital bed, and quite possibly his death bed as his condition continues to worsen, Cardinal Timothy Dolan took to his Podcast to deliver a stunning message on the Muslim holiday of Ramadan that starts today. In that message, Dolan refers them as “our Muslim brothers and sisters”, sparking quite the controversy online. Calling Muslims as “brothers and sisters” implies there is a bond connecting the two religions that are very far apart. Yes, not as far as you might think when you consider the alliance forged by Pope Francis over the past 12 years between Islam and the Roman Catholic Church. Has Ash Wednesday become the ‘Catholic Ramadan’, as Cardinal Dolan suggests? It sure has and a whole lot more than that, and that’s the memo.

Cardinal Dolan said he was giving this message to “shame Catholics” into becoming more like Muslims, and concluded his fiery missive by saying “let’s unite with our Muslim brothers and sisters in prayer and fasting.” Dolan even went so far to call the Roman observance of Ash Wednesday as the ‘Catholic Ramadan’. Wow, there’s a lot to unpack there. So let’s do a quick review of the foundation for all this laid by Pope Francis.
