The Minor Prophets, also known as ‘The Twelve’, deliver a mighty end times punch in bringing you the info on how the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation will play out

The Old Testament stands on 3 major pillars – the Law, the Writings, and the Prophets, something that is definitely defined by Jesus Himself in the New Testament. Genesis to Deuteronomy gives us the Law of Moses, the writings which is primarily Psalms and Proverbs, and the Prophets which start with Isaiah, the biggest one of them all, and ends with Malachi. The ‘big three’ or Major Prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and ‘the Twelve’, or the 12 Minor Prophets, start with Hosea and ends with Malachi. They are called ‘minor prophets’ because of the shortness of their books, but make no mistake, when it comes to the end times, they pack a major wallop!

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” Luke 24:44 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we start with the prophet Hosea, and work our way down the line, in order, to read the writings of a fascinating group of men known as ‘The Twelve’. One main thing they all have in common is that they all prophesy concerning the end times of Jacob’s trouble, with a focus on the events of the great Tribulation. Jesus says in Hebrews “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”, and this is the sum and substance that make up the writings of these amazing Minor Prophets.

Jesus is the Lion King from the tribe of Judah, and his coronation day will take place at the Second Advent

There is a Disney movie called ‘The Lion King’ that came out decades ago, and it’s sequel that was just released in the theaters, and if you’ve never seen either one let me just tell you right now they both borrow heavily from the Bible. Disney being what it is, it is purely unintentional on their part, but nonetheless there it is. The Lion King? Only one lion King, and that’s the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ.

“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Revelation 5:5 (KJB)

The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, speaks of the coming King from the tribe of Judah who will rule and reign from David’s Throne in Jerusalem, and likens Him to a lion in both strength and regality. Jesus is the Lion King who is coming for His Church sooner rather than later, and will return with us at the Second Advent to claim His kingdom over this world. Disney will never make a movie like that, but they don’t have to, you can see it within the pages of your King James 1611 Authorized Version Holy Bible!

As we discussed on our Podcast earlier today, 2025 has begun with a literal bang of end times activity, giving us the portent of a very crazy, wild year now stretching out before us. Today we sent King James Bibles in English and in Spanish to the South Florida Reception Center, Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, Montana State Prison, Salem Correctional Center & Jail, Garza West Unit, and the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Praise the Lord! Not to mention all the individual Ruckman Reference Bibles we sent out this week through our Free Bible Program. We even had a prisoner email us directly from the Columbus Correctional Institution in North Carolina asking us for an RRB, and that sent out as well. We can’t travel to all these jails and prisons personally, but we sure can support the ones that God has placed in those places, to give them what they need.
