Pope Francis Calls For A ‘Paradigm Shift’ In Roman Catholic Theology To ‘Facilitate Collaboration’ With Other Religions Like Buddhism And Atheists

Pope Francis has called for a ‘paradigm shift’ in Catholic theology that takes widespread engagement with contemporary science, culture, and people’s lived experience as an essential starting point. In other words, the One World Religion

On a daily basis, Pope Francis continues to do everything we give him credit for doing, which is to be the driving force behind preparing the coming kingdom of Antichrist. Pope Francis is already the king of Vatican City, Revelation 18, and he is the spiritual leader over the counterfeit Christian Church, Revelation 17, known as Roman Catholicism. His recent comments on changing their theology, such as it is, is perfectly inline with the coming One World Religion of Antichrist.

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Revelation 17:5,6 (KJB)

I was a Roman Catholic for 30 years of my life before getting saved in 1991. I was well trained as an ‘altar boy’ in the myriad religious rites of Catholicism, and spent 12 long years being trained in ‘theology’ by Franciscan and Jesuit priests, nuns and bishops. I can assure you that the theology of the Roman Catholic Church has next to nothing in common with Bible doctrine and teaching, except where it mimics it for it’s own purposes. But I am glad to see Pope Francis continuing his quest to merge the Roman Catholic Church with all the religions and atheists of the world. I’m sure it’s a relief for him on some level to ‘come out of the closet’ and stop pretending he’s a Christian. He absolutely is not.

FROM THE CATHOLIC NEWS AGENCY: Citing the need to deal with “profound cultural transformations,” the pope presented his dramatic vision for the future of Catholic theology in a new motu proprio issued earlier today. Titled Ad Theologiam Promovendam, or “to promote theology,” the document revises the statutes of the Pontifical Academy of Theology (PATH) “to make them more suitable for the mission that our time imposes on theology.”

“Theology can only develop in a culture of dialogue and encounter between different traditions and different knowledge, between different Christian confessions and different religions, openly engaging with everyone, believers and nonbelievers,” the pope wrote in the apostolic letter.

Pope Francis wrote that Catholic theology must experience a “courageous cultural revolution” in order to become a “fundamentally contextual theology.” Guided by Christ’s incarnation into time and space, this approach to theology must be capable of reading and interpreting “the Gospel in the conditions in which men and women live daily, in different geographical, social, and cultural environments,” the pope wrote.

The pope contrasted this approach with a theology that is limited to “abstractly re-proposing formulas and schemes from the past” and repeated his long-standing criticism of “desk bound theology.” Instead, he emphasized that theological studies must be open to the world, not as a “‘tactical’ attitude” but as a profound “turning point” in their method, which he said must be “inductive.”

Pope Francis emphasized that this bottom-up re-envisioning of theology is necessary to better aid the Church’s evangelizing mission.

“A synodal, missionary, and ‘outgoing’ Church can only correspond to an ‘outgoing’ theology,” the pope wrote.

Relatedly, the pope said, this dialogical approach can allow theology to “broaden the boundaries” of scientific reasoning, allowing it to overcome dehumanizing tendencies.
‘Transdisciplinary’ and pastoral

To achieve this “‘outgoing’ theology,” Pope Francis wrote that theology must become “transdisciplinary,” part of a “web of relationships, first of all with other disciplines and other knowledge.” This engagement, he wrote, leads to “the arduous task” of theologians making use of “new categories developed by other knowledge” in order to “penetrate and communicate the truths of faith and transmit the teaching of Jesus in today’s languages, with originality and critical awareness.”

Pope Francis also wrote that priority must be given to “the knowledge of people’s ‘common sense,’” which he described as a “theological source in which many images of God live, often not corresponding to the Christian face of God, only and always love.”

The pope said that this “pastoral stamp” must be placed upon all of Catholic theology. Described as “popular theology,” by starting from “the different contexts and concrete situations in which people are inserted” and allowing itself “to be seriously challenged by reality,” theological reflection can aid in the discernment of the “signs of the times,” the pope wrote.

“Theology places itself at the service of the evangelization of the Church and the transmission of faith, so that faith becomes culture; that is, the wise ethos of the people of God, a proposal of human and humanizing beauty for all,” the pope wrote.

The pope’s shift in emphasis in Catholic theology was reflected in the new statutes issued for the Pontifical Academy of Theology. Ad Theologiam Promovendam shifted the 200-year-old institute’s focus from “promoting the dialogue between reason and faith” to promoting “transdisciplinary dialogue with philosophies, sciences, arts, and all other knowledge.” The new statutes place PATH “at the service of academic institutions dedicated to theology and other cultural and knowledge development centers interested in reaching the human person in his context of life and thought.”

The change was welcomed by PATH’s president, Bishop Antonio Staglianò.

“Pope Francis entrusts our Pontifical Academy with a new mission: that of promoting, in every area of knowledge, discussion, and dialogue in order to reach and involve all of the people of God in theological research so that the life of the people becomes theological life,” the Italian prelate said in a press release.

The new statutes call for PATH to facilitate collaboration between Catholic theologians and “those of other Christian confessions or religions.”

The academy will also “‘network’ with universities and centers of production of culture and thought” and explore “culturally qualified” ways to propose the Gospel as a life guide to even atheists, a process described in the PATH press release as “wisdom dissemination.”

In harmony with “the magisterium of Pope Francis,” under the new statutes PATH will also exercise a commitment to “intellectual charity” by focusing on the questions and needs of those “on the existential peripheries.” READ MORE

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin’s peace talks send a chilling ripple of déjà vu, a historian has warned, sending Europe and Ukraine ‘back to 1938’

Someone once remarked that ‘those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it’, and certainly that applies in this article here today. I honestly don’t know what Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are up to, but I will tell you this, they are up to something. It is highly unorthodox to hold peace talks to end a war, and then not allow the other party with whom the war is being waged to attend the meetings. I mean, how does that happen? It only happens when the terms of ending the war are being dictated from one side to the other. That’s not ‘peace talks’, that’s divide and conquer talks.

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.” Ecclesiastes 1:9,10 (KJB)

I do not see Donald Trump as the Antichrist, as some have said, and I do not see him as Hitler, either. But what I do see is a man that God has put into office, according to Daniel 2:21, to carry out His will in these end times. This may be hard for some of you to swallow, but God has no interest in ‘making America great again’, not by a long shot. What God does have an interest in is carrying out what He told the prophets would be taking place in the last days. I see Donald Trump as an unwitting messenger by whom many of these events will be fulfilled. Elon Musk is by Trump’s side for a reason, the quicker you figure that out the easier this thing will be for you to understand. Dark days are on the horizon, war is coming, and it will begin in Europe as did the other two. That’s the memo.

‘Land-grabbers’ Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin ‘send Europe back to 1938’ with Ukraine intrigue

FROM THE MIRROR UK: A top history expert has accused the two leaders of “land grabbing”, with events in recent days bearing a chilling echo of when dictators Hitler and Mussolini signed away territory which the UK and France agreed to as to not exacerbate tensions. The US and Russia leaders have already appeared to have charged ahead with Ukraine peace talks, effectively locking out Kyiv and other European leaders.

The Trump administration has said the UK and Europe would not play a part in any negotiations as they looked set to plough ahead with talks in Riyadh this week, prompting fierce criticism and concerns. Prime Minister Keir Starmer is set to visit Washington DC next week after urging America to provide a “backstop” to any settlement brokered between Kyiv and Moscow. On Tuesday, Mr Trump said the US does not “need” to deploy peacekeeping troops and suggested Ukraine “should never have started” the war.

A British historian has already issued an urgent warning about history repeating itself, and has also likened the current situation to Hitler and Mussolini’s “land-grabbing” of the Sudetenland territory in September 1938. Professor Anthony Glees is an expert in European affairs and security who has previously spoken far and wide about the lessons taught by Hitler’s dictatorship.

 He told The Mirror: “I believe most sensible people the length and breadth of Europe are viewing these preparatory talks with a foreboding not experienced since 1938 when the UK & France met Hitler and Mussolini at Munich to sign away lands belonging to free Czechoslovakia to try to appease the fascist dictators. It was sold as ‘peace with honour’ and a ‘peace in our time’.

“But within months Hitler swallowed all of Czechoslovakia and within a year Europe was at war and millions died. Even Neville Chamberlain doubted his own deal because he began rapid rearmament programmes on his return to the UK.”

 Prof Glees added: “That’s the picture Europe has before its eyes right now. A small but brave free democracy fighting for its life is forced to be a bystander as its sovereignty is destroyed by Trump and Putin, both land grabbers, both megalomaniacs, brothers in bullying others.

“It’s outrageous that Trump has humiliated Zelensky in the past and now, literally, tramples over him. Whilst we know Putin is fully aware of the history of the last century, Trump, Hegseth and JD Vance are either clueless about what happens when free nations are sacrificed to war lords or (more likely) they couldn’t care less.”

So far, Britain has been making efforts to balance support for Ukraine alongside diplomacy with our biggest ally. The PM is now expected to try and bridge the gap when he visits the White House next week following an impromptu call from Trump last week, and is likely to call for security guarantees from the US.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, along with allies across the continent, have insisted that Kyiv must have a seat at the table in discussions over its future. Speaking to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago retreat in Florida on Tuesday night, Mr Trump said that he was “disappointed” Mr Zelensky had complained about being left out of talks. He suggested Ukraine should have been willing to make concessions to Russia before the 2022 invasion, adding: “Today I heard, ‘Oh, well, we weren’t invited’. Well, you been there for three years. You should have ended it three years (ago). You should have never started it. You could have made a deal.” READ MORE

NTEB RADIO BIBLE STUDY: Part #11 Of The Minor Prophets From Hosea To Malachi – Zechariah Pt #5

The Minor Prophets, also known as ‘The Twelve’, deliver a mighty end times punch in bringing you the info on how the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation will play out

The Old Testament stands on 3 major pillars – the Law, the Writings, and the Prophets, something that is definitely defined by Jesus Himself in the New Testament. Genesis to Deuteronomy gives us the Law of Moses, the writings which is primarily Psalms and Proverbs, and the Prophets which start with Isaiah, the biggest one of them all, and ends with Malachi. The ‘big three’ or Major Prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and ‘the Twelve’, or the 12 Minor Prophets, start with Hosea and ends with Malachi. They are called ‘minor prophets’ because of the shortness of their books, but make no mistake, when it comes to the end times, they pack a major wallop!

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” Luke 24:44 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we start with the prophet Hosea, and work our way down the line, in order, to read the writings of a fascinating group of men known as ‘The Twelve’. One main thing they all have in common is that they all prophesy concerning the end times of Jacob’s trouble, with a focus on the events of the great Tribulation. Jesus says in Hebrews “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”, and this is the sum and substance that make up the writings of these amazing Minor Prophets.

ON THIS EPISODE: We take a look at the Prophet Zechariah, and he is perhaps the biggest and most powerful of the 12 Minor Prophets we’ve been studying these past number of weeks. Zechariah has so much to say it’s doubtful we will get even half of it in during our study tonight, and all of it pertains to the Second Advent. Zechariah makes some astonishing connections to the book of Revelation and we will spend much of our time this evening cross-referencing his prophecies. King Cyrus Had A Biblical Mandate To Authorize The Rebuilding Of The Temple In Jerusalem, President Donald Trump Does Not, And That’s A Huge Problem

King Cyrus had a biblical mandate from God to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple, no such mandate exists in the Church Age with Donald Trump. Any Temple built before the Second Advent will be for Antichrist

American president Donald Trump is making momentous changes that will have a global impact, he has only been in office for 28 days, but off to a furious start. One of the things he has said he will take control of is Gaza and the West Bank to the north of Israel proper. It remains to be seen if he can actually do that, but he certainly wants to. In the midst of all this, predictably, comes talk of Trump making it possible for the Jews to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem. To that point, many are calling Trump a modern-day King Cyrus, a nice sentiment and certainly a compliment, but quite impossible if you believe the Bible.

“That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.” Isaiah 44:28 (KJB)

One of the most astonishing prophecies anywhere in the Old Testament of your King James Bible, outside of those concerning the birth of Jesus, would have to be the foretelling of a king named Cyrus whom God would use to help the Jews rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the Temple after the events of the 70 years of Babylonian captivity. Isaiah makes this amazing prophecy roughly 250 years before Cyrus, who would grow up to be king over the Persian empire, authorized the Jews to go back and begin the rebuilding process. We read about that in 2 Chronicles.

“Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.” 2 Chronicles 36:23 (KJB)

So the first point I would like to make for you to consider in any conversation regarding the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem is that there must needs be authorization from God to build it. King David wanted to do it, but God wouldn’t let him because he had shed too much blood. Instead the LORD chose his son Solomon to build the House of the LORD.

“And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.” 2 Samuel 7:12,13 (KJB)

The Temple built by King Solomon was authorized by God, the rebuilding of that Temple at the decree of King Cyrus was authorized by God, and the Temple in which King Jesus will rule and reign with also be, obviously, authorized by God. Chapters 40-48 in the book of Ezekiel lay it all out for you to read.

“And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.” Ezekiel 40:4 (KJB)

Do you see the problem? The Bible accounts for the first Temple, second Temple and the last Temple, but gives no instructions, decrees, commands or charges for any Jew to build the Temple that will exist during the time of Jacob’s trouble. We know that it will be rebuilt because we see it standing in the book of Revelation at the start of the Great Tribulation, the midpoint of the 7-year time of Jacob’s trouble.

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” Revelation 11:1-3 (KJB)

A casual reading of those verses might tempt you to think that Revelation 11 is talking about the Temple of God as in the LORD God of Heaven, but you might want to cross-reference that with these verses before you come to any hasty conclusions.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4 (KJB)

Antichrist does not come as a god, he comes as the God Almighty and deceives the whole world who is now under the strong delusion in the days after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church takes place. Paul is clearly showing us that Antichrist, as God, claims the rebuilt Temple as his own, just as Jesus warns about in Matthew. And guess what? The actual God gives Antichrist the whole thing lock, stock and barrel.

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” Matthew 24:15 (KJB)

What does all this mean for us here in the closing hours of the Church Age? It means that any Temple that is built in Jerusalem before the Second Advent will be the Temple in which Antichrist will be worshipped. That is a non-negotiable fact if you believe the Bible. Donald Trump has no authority from God, and neither does anyone else, to build God’s Temple in His Holy City of Jerusalem. If a Temple is built, and you just may see that happen before the Rapture, it will be the Temple of Antichrist.
