At this time of the year, people seem to be more in tune to want to give because of the focus on the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ. How well I remember thirty three and a half years ago opening up a King James Bible from a free Bible program, turning to John 3:16, believing what I read and getting saved. Jesus provided His great gift to us on the cross at Calvary, and we who believe are tasked with bringing that gift to everyone and anyone who might want to receive it. Especially to the oft-forgotten “least of these” inmates sitting this Christmas in jails and prisons across America.

“Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. King James Bibles and Spanish Bibles have already been shipped out to the Indian River Correctional Institute in Florida, Craven County Sheriff Detention Center in North Carolina, and the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Alaska. Between Christmas and New Years we will ship out to the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in New York, Salem Correctional Center & Jail in West Virginia, the Dominguez State Jail and the Garza West Unit in Texas. We still need your help with the Montana State Prison, the South Florida Reception Center, the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and the three newcomers Santa Rosa, Baker Re-Entry and Northwest Florida Reception. Every time we get close to the end of the list, new jails and prisons come aboard, and praise the Lord for that. As a happy result, we are now on track to hit 500,000 pieces of gospel literature given out in the first quarter of 2025!

The Minor Prophets, also known as ‘The Twelve’, deliver a mighty end times punch in bringing you the info on how the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation will play out

The Old Testament stands on 3 major pillars – the Law, the Writings, and the Prophets, something that is definitely defined by Jesus Himself in the New Testament. Genesis to Deuteronomy gives us the Law of Moses, the writings which is primarily Psalms and Proverbs, and the Prophets which start with Isaiah, the biggest one of them all, and ends with Malachi. The ‘big three’ or Major Prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and ‘the Twelve’, or the 12 Minor Prophets, start with Hosea and ends with Malachi. They are called ‘minor prophets’ because of the shortness of their books, but make no mistake, when it comes to the end times, they pack a major wallop!

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we start with the prophet Hosea, and work our way down the line, in order, to read the writings of a fascinating group of men known as ‘The Twelve’. One main thing they all have in common is that they all prophesy concerning the end times of Jacob’s trouble, with a focus on the events of the great Tribulation.
