NTEB Free King James Bible and Gospel Tract Program

We now have an official NTEB Free Bible and Gospel Tract ministry, and it is all because of God’s people working to see the gospel of the grace of God go out around the world in these last days.

I cannot recall when the Lord first put it on my heart to offer free gospel tracts and King James Bible to believers who could not afford them, but I’m thinking it was sometime about a year or so ago. We have been selling our NTEB Gospel Tracts since 2015, and obviously handing thousands per month out for free going street preaching, but it was on a Sunday night radio bible study program when the Holy Spirit just whispered and said “offer them for free to people who need them but can’t afford them“. So I did, and as people responded, we shipped them out. Then COVID-19 hit, and everything changed.

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 (KJB)

We had been giving out nice, quality King James Bibles for free for awhile, and people seemed to like them. But the bible I really wanted to put into people’s hands was the Ruckman Reference Bible, something that I personally consider to be the best commentary bible ever produced. But they are not cheap, with even the plain paper ‘economy’ model starting at $24.95, and I just didn’t have the funds for that. But I prayed about it, and lo and behold, an on-fire NTEB reader sent me in a check for $1,000 for the “free bible program”. Wow, I was floored. It wasn’t really a program, just something God put on my heart to do, but here was a nice-sized check for the “free bible program”, and that could only mean one thing.

Right away, I called my friends at the Bible Baptist Bookstore in Pensacola, and ordered a bunch of cases of RRB’s, and when they arrived a few days later we started packing them up as you see in the main photo, and sending them out. Exciting stuff! Then more people started donating to the “free bible & tract program”, and we were able to order 150,00 gospel tracts to go with those cases of bibles. All of a sudden, we really had an official NTEB Free Bible and Gospel Tract ministry, and it is all because of God’s people working to see the gospel of the grace of God go out around the world in these last days.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7,8 (KJB)

So I wanted to write to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has contributed, who continue monthly, and who will contribute in the future. Bibles Behind Bars and the Gospel Truth Jail Ministry are working hard to give thousands of inmates in north Georgia the gospel and a King James Bible

2026 started off with a bang, having received requests for King James Bibles and books from Orange County Corrections in Florida, Delta Regional Unit in Alaska, Monroe Correctional Complex in Washington, Tomoka Correctional Institution in Florida, Clallam Bay Corrections in Washington, and the Montana State Prison. That’s what I’d call a fast start for Bibles Behind Bars. But today I want to draw your attention to the amazing discipleship work being done in North Georgia by the Gospel Truth Jail Ministry.

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 (KJB)

Recently they reached out to us with an update on the thousands of Bibles we supply to them, and lay preacher Jamie Baker said this “I gave out a Certificate from New Life in Christ Bible study to an inmate that had completed One of the studies. He broke down in tears saying that was the first thing he ever had completed in his life. It was like a moment of joy and tears. What a blessing it was. Bibles Behind Bars ministry is making a difference in the lives many people. Thank you for providing God’s Word to the inmates!” Can you imagine being sent to the front lines without a sword to do battle with? So many preachers and chaplains around the country tell us how hard it is for them to get King James Bibles, and a lot of the times they preach but have no Bible to leave with the inmates. Bibles Behind Bars solves that problem by providing all the Bibles they need no matter how large the jail or prison is. We’ve never yet had a request that was so large we couldn’t meet the need, because of all of you who pray and donate.

MEMBERS OF THE GOSPEL TRUTH JAIL MINISTRY FOR BOTH THE MEN’S AND LADIES JAILS

Chaplain Roger says “We are very grateful for the Bibles Behind Bars ministry, for making Bibles available for the men and women of Catoosa County Jail, in Georgia. They are regularly asked for, by inmates. It is encouraging to see them following along during preaching time. More will be done while we are not there, just by the Word of God being in their hands.” Christian, the Gospel Truth Jail Ministry is a very large coalition of chaplains, pastors, lay preachers and volunteers who minister to thousands and thousands of inmates. Bibles Behind Bars is there to make sure that every inmate who wants a Bible will receive a Bible, and that’s where you come in. It takes a lot of people to do this work, and it takes a lot of money to supply them with the Bibles, books, scripture portions and gospel tracts that they need. Please pray for the dozens of preachers, workers and volunteers as well as the thousands of inmates who are ministered to. Hundreds Of King James Bibles Have Been Urgently Requested From The State Correctional Institution In Muncy PA And From The Montana State Prison

SCI Muncy and the Montana State Prison are just a few of the jails and prisons who have reached out this week for King James Bibles and Christians books

The dearth of Bibles available to jails is weighing down hard on chaplains like Chaplain Hanson over at the State Correctional Institution In Muncy, PA, who wrote to us and said “Thank you for this exciting news this morning. We desperately need King James Bibles to give out to the men. I don’t know how many you are able to donate, but if we can get up to two hundred, that will be wonderful.” Remember my Sunday Sermon 2 weeks ago about the coming famine of the word of the Lord? Thank God His word is still available right here, right now, and we are able to send it out. What a blessing!

“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;” Colossians 1:25 (KJB)

Chaplain Marshall from the Montana State Prison also wrote to us this week, we have supplied them in the past, to let us know they again have a high need for King James Bibles for their inmates. Time was there were dozens of KJV bible-sending ministries for inmates across the country, but in 2026, Bibles Behind Bars is one of the last suppliers of exclusively King James and KJV Spanish Bibles to jail and prisons in America. We have been tasked by God to stand in the gap and send the word out, what an awesome responsibility! But we need your help to keep on doing it.

200 King James Bibles To The Tomoka Correctional Institution In Daytona Beach And A Single Ruckman Reference Bible To An Inmate In Rikers Island

Please pray for the inmates at the Tomoka Correctional Institution and the one inmate at Rikers Island who will be receiving God’s word through Bibles Behind Bars

Bibles Behind Bars, thanks to all y’all’s prayers and support, is off to a fast start with Bibles and books sent to the Delta Regional Unit in Arkansas, the Monroe Correctional Complex in Washington State, the Central Florida Reception Center in Orlando as well as Orange County Corrections also in Orlando. Today we received 2 requests, one for 200 Bibles to be sent to the Tomoka Correctional Institution in Daytona Beach, and an urgent request for a single Ruckman Reference Bible to be sent to an inmate housed at America’s most notorious jail, Rikers Island in New York. The belly of the Beast!

“Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;” Psalms 79:11 (KJB)

The request for the single Ruckman Reference Bible came to us from an inmate advocacy group in New York City, on behalf of the inmate who was being given a very hard time when he asked to have a Bible. Rikers Island jail is predominately Muslim, with mostly Muslim chaplains along with one or two Catholic Chaplains, so getting a Bible is a lot harder than you think it might be. We sent that Bible out, and ask you to pray for this inmate (name withheld), as well as us being able to put many more Bibles into Rikers. What a blessing that would be! Also pray for the hundreds of souls at Tomoka who will soon be receiving King James Bibles as well. Come help us, Christian, we need you!
