For the first time in 14 years, the Roman Catholic Church has opened up its annual exorcism class in Rome to all major Christian faiths in a bid to stem the rising tide of demonic forces around the world.

For the first time in 14 years, the Roman Catholic Church has opened up its annual exorcism class in Rome to all major Christian faiths to stem the rising tide of demonic forces around the world.

Ah, Rome, drunken with the blood of the saints, Rick Warren would feel right at home here. You will remember that back in 2014, Rick Warren gushed effusively about ‘our pope’, and what a great jobs he was doing. Well, now Pope Francis has invited Christian pastors to come to Rome and learn the ways of Babylon in how to ‘cast out devils’. Not surprisingly 241 people have taken the bait from the man in the fish hat to become trained in how to use Roman Catholics idols and icons to perform exorcisms. If it wasn’t so profoundly sad, it would be pretty funny.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17,18 (KJV)

The ability to cast out devils, along with healing the sick, drinking poison and not dying, and taking up serpents safely was given to the apostles of Jesus Christ. When the last apostle died, that would be John after writing Revelation in 96 AD, the apostolic gifts died with him. And guess what? It’s frighteningly easy to prove.

Now, I grant you, there exists no metrics today to prove someone is possessed by the Devil, and also no metrics to prove that an ‘exorcism’ was successful. So if you were going to claim the apostolic gifts, that one would be a great one to start with. Things would get a tad sticky, however, when we moved to the second category, taking up serpents. But who knows? You might get lucky on that one, even though a lot of people who died trying that might disagree. Getting to number 3, and you’re pretty well exposed to be a fraud. Number of people anywhere in the world right now who can, like the apostles, lay hands on someone and instantly and completely heal them is right around, plus or minus 10 percent, exactly zero.

So you faked an exorcism and fooled no one but Catholics and some Laodicean Protestants, hmmm, dubious accomplishment. By the grace of God survived taking up the serpent, well done, you! But you crashed and burned trying to convince people you had the ‘gift of healing’, but don’t worry. The 4th test, drinking the poison, will solve all your new-found problems.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9 (KJV)

Now run along and be a good, little Laodicean, the childless and unholy ‘father’ Pope Francis is sitting on Satan’s seat with his arms open and waiting to receive you. If you tell him that Rick sent you, you’ll get a special prize. Here’s a hint, it’s very dry, it’s hot, and there’s no escape. Now if you really want to know how to ‘cast out the devil’ from a person, it’s really easy. Just open up a King James Bible and show them how to get saved. And that’s something that no one in the Vatican can teach you. They wouldn’t even know where to begin.

FROM THE CHRISTIAN POST: “The idea is to help each other, to establish best practices if you will,” Father Pedro Barrajon, 61, one of the organizers of the 14th edition of the “Course on Exorcism and Prayer of Liberation,” taking place at the Pontifical University of Regina Apostolorum, told the Telegraph. “This is the first time that different denominations have come together to compare their experiences on exorcisms.”

The one week course which is taught in Italian at a cost of approximately $450 is being held May 6- 11. It is described as the first course in the world that proposes careful academic and interdisciplinary research of exorcisms.

“Expelling the devil goes back to the earliest origins of the Christian Church,” Barrajon said. “The Catholic rite is very structured, whereas some of the other churches are more creative, they don’t use a precise format.”

More than 241 people, both lay and religious, from more than 40 countries signed up for the course this year, Crux Now reported.

“I’m here to understand the Catholic perspective. We are fighting the same enemy in the name of the Lord, even if there are some parts of the Anglican Church that have lost belief in Satan,” course participant Benjamin McEntire, a Protestant priest from Alaska, said.

They all agree that growing secularization has led to a proliferation of satanic groups, especially among young people through social media.

“Many young people display a certain attraction and interest toward themes tied to esotericism, magic, the occult, Satanism, witchcraft, vampirism and contact with a presumed supernatural world,” Italian Professor Giuseppe Ferrari, founder and secretary of the “Social and Religious Research and Information Group,” said during his introductory speech at the event.

“Some end up accepting as spiritual leaders these characters who, while proposing a flawed liberty and false freedom, only aim at taking hold of their existence,” he explained.

While critics of the course have argued that the study of exorcism has no place in modern society, organizers of the event have emphasized a multidisciplinary approach to exorcism that tackles psychology, medicine, law, sociology and criminology in order to help students better understand the changing dynamics and reality of Satanism. Operation Africa continues to grow as Now The End Begins prepares to send another 200 Bibles tomorrow to the Glory Fellowship Church in Kisii, Kenya, bringing the total number of Bibles sent there to over 1,000. But this work is about more than just sending boxes of Bibles. We are also discipling Pastor Dancan weekly in Paul’s doctrine for the Church Age, with the end goal of seeing him officially ordained into the Gospel Ministry. Every Tuesday at 11:00 AM, I get on a video chat with Pastor Dancan (you can see me with Dancan in the middle section of the top photo) and we do rightly divided King James Bible Study. Believe me when I tell you how excited he is for these studies, Dancan says this has been his dream ever since he was a small child. Bibles put directly into the hands of the people, sound doctrine poured into the heart of the pastor, and a local church being strengthened for the work of the gospel ministry, that’s what Operation Africa! is all about.

It is not about building an empire, exporting ‘American religion’, or creating dependency. What we are doing is planting Bible believing, rightly divided, gospel-preaching local church ministry in Africa with men who can stand on their own two feet with an open Bible in their hands. This is how the Bible says real missions work ought to be done. Operation Africa is Bibles, doctrine, discipleship, and ordination. It is the word of God going out, saints being strengthened, pastors being trained, and local churches being established in sound doctrine. In Kisii, Kenya, at Glory Fellowship Church, the Lord has opened a door that no man can shut. We are also working to plant a church with Pastor Irad in Kanungu, Uganda, and we will have more on that soon, Lord willing.

NTEB RADIO BIBLE STUDY: Women In The Ministry, Part 2 Is A Followup From This Morning’s Sunday Service

Women In The Ministry: Paul’s Doctrine Allows Women To Labour Powerfully In The Gospel Without Usurping Authority Over Men

The Holy Ghost made sure the names of faithful women were written into the record, and that ought to settle forever the idea that biblical church order somehow minimizes women. Those women laboured, helped, hosted, served, supported, instructed in proper order, strengthened the saints, and bore real burdens in the work of the gospel. Paul did not treat them as decorative spectators. He called them helpers, servants, succourers, and fellowlabourers. But he never made them bishops, elders, pastors, or authoritative teachers over the church. That distinction matters. The modern church often wants to flatten every distinction God makes, but Paul’s pattern honours both men and women by placing them where God designed them to function.

“And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.” Philippians 4:3 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, a rightly ordered church, according to Paul, is a church where Christ is the Head, sound doctrine is the rule, qualified men lead, faithful women labour, older saints disciple younger saints, sin is corrected, heresy is rejected, and the whole body is edified. This is not oppression; it is protection. It keeps the pulpit guarded, the home strengthened, the assembly sober, and the ministry fruitful. When men abandon their place, women are tempted to fill the vacuum. When women reject their place, confusion enters the assembly. But when both submit to the Pauline order, the church becomes what it was meant to be: a disciplined, doctrinally sound, gospel-preaching body operating “decently and in order.” Tonight’s Bible Study is a Part 2 from this morning’s Sunday Service message, and we will take an in-depth look at all the women who laboured with the apostle Paul in the gospel ministry.

After listening to the studies and church on NTEB, I was motivated to write witness letters along with NTEB gospel tracks to friends from my hometown who I know are not saved.
