A bizarre new DEI ad for car brand Jaguar has been widely mocked as ‘woke’ and ‘outdated’ by social media users.

Jaguar released a new logo treatment along with other branding today that they themselves describe as a ‘new era’, seismic change’ and ‘bold’. All three of those things are true, but in the worst possible way. Their branding looks like a cross between Andy Warhol and Max Headroom, with a healthy splash of woke DEI thrown in for good measure. That’s kind of funny when you consider one of their taglines is ‘copy nothing’. Missing from the new release were any and all images of a Jaguar car. Interesting choice. So what are they selling? Good question.

Woke and DEI function as a virus for the mind, that once infected, cease to operate in any sort of a logical or rational way. Anything that becomes woke is always degraded, a laughingstock, woke has never once made anything it touches better. Woke and DEI, otherwise known as diversity equity and inclusion, are actually a form of mass hypnosis to create a hive mind that the people at the top control. Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany are an excellent example of what it looks like when a hive mind is created and then taken over. What is Jaguar actually selling? The hive mind.

FROM THE NY POST: The venerable British marque, now owned by Indian multinational Tata Group as part of Jaguar Land Rover Automotive, shared the 30-second clip on social media on Tuesday with the caption, “Copy nothing.”

Notably missing from the ad — which features similarly bold taglines like “create exuberant,” “live vivid” and “delete ordinary” — is an actual Jaguar. It opts instead for something more resembling a Paris fashion show, featuring a group of mixed-race, ambiguously gendered catwalk models in bright colors strutting and posing on abstract sets.

The clip has been viewed more than 6.6 million times on X, sparking backlash from many viewers.

“Do you sell cars?” Tesla chief executive Elon Musk wrote.

“Edgy. Will it sell cars?” another user asked.

“Umm, where are the cars in this ad? Is this for fashion?” a third said.

Jaguar’s X account replied, “Think of this as a declaration of intent.”

Replying to a similar post Jaguar wrote, “The story is unfolding. Stay tuned.”

“What in the actual hell is this,” another X user said.

“The future,” Jaguar hit back.

One X user said “All this ad tells me is to not buy your car,” while another called it “the worst ad I’ve ever seen.”

Another added, “You don’t have to do this humiliation ritual anymore, you can just post a short video of a nice car and call it good.”

Conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck said, “Fire your marketing team and drop the woke stuff. This just made me want to sell my Jaguar and I don’t even own a Jaguar.” Psychology professor Geoffrey Miller said, “People aren’t going to buy your car based on garish, outdated, woke virtue-signalling. In the case of Lincoln Center, this distortion of the historical record to satisfy the whims of identity-obsessed elites has distorted reality itself and undermined a historic institution, Mozart and all.

As a child, my mother insisted that I was exposed to classical music and that took the form of beginning piano lessons at the age of 9 and violin lesson shortly thereafter. I started with the basics and then was introduced to the classical masters like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms and the rest. But the music of Mozart was different, it had a strength and power that seemed to put it into its own classification of music. Mozart has been called the greatest composer of all time, and rightly so. But even the great Mozart cannot stand up to the hordes of Black Lives Matter revolutionaries who insist on erasing everything that does not align itself with their Marxist theology. Ladies and gentlemen, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been cancelled. What is his crime? He’s too talented, and he’s too white.

How well I remember back in the 1970’s, being taken to New York City by my parents for a night of ‘classics and culture’ at Lincoln Center. My mother loved their ‘Mostly Mozart’ festival, and I grew to love it, too. We came from a small, little town, located the rural foothills of old New Jersey, but mom insisted on a little culture if only to balance out the incessant watching of Monday Night Football my dad and I would do. (years later I would get saved in part from reading the John 3:16 signs displayed whenever points were scored). Now Lincoln Center, that great bastion of culture and classical music, has jettisoned Mozart in favor of events like drag queen duets and the Kumbia Queers Live that looks as bad as it sounds. Lincoln Center has drunk the Kool-Aid, becoming a mouthpiece for the various anarchist groups that continue to plague this country. Racism in America will never, ever end, because the Liberals that control the media and our government will not allow it to end. It is their main weapon to refashion society as they prepare to receive the coming Antichrist. That’s the memo.

Lincoln Center cancels Mozart and goes woke — based on a historical lie

FROM THE NY POST: When Black Lives Matter becomes a marketing strategy, facts offer little impediment to speaking “one’s truth.” Take the case of New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, which banked its pandemic recovery on a narrative of its own abhorrence.

In 2020, the center began promoting a story that a vibrant black community known as San Juan Hill had been deliberately snuffed out in the 1950s to make way for its creation.

“The displacement of Indigenous, Black, and Latinx families that took place prior to the construction of our campus is abhorrent,” declares the center’s “Message on Our Commitment to Change.”

“We may never know its full impact on those dispossessed of the land on which Lincoln Center sits. But only by acknowledging this history can we begin to confront the racism from which our institution has benefited.”

With the blood-and-soil essentialism of today’s identity politics, this commitment fell in line with the new progressive rhetoric of land acknowledgments, colonialist dispossession and unearthed legacies of systemic oppression.

The story was also left unchallenged by the many news sources that repeated it.

For the racial pathologists, the center’s four-block campus obviously owed its existence to the destruction of a historic black neighborhood, paving over those “Indigenous, Black, and Latinx families” with white travertine and white culture.

These days, such self-abnegation offers a chance for our managerial class to treat their organizations’ supposed pathologies with a patent mixture of tinctures, elixirs and balms. For Lincoln Center’s leadership, this has meant attacking from within an institution largely dedicated to the culture of the West by developing programming and even a new campus plan based around this original sin of race-based displacement.

In consequence, last summer the center canceled its “Mostly Mozart” festival in favor of more “inclusive” fare — sponsoring rappers, pop groups and an LGBTQ mariachi band while hanging a 10-foot-wide disco ball above its fountain.

This summer’s programming, just announced, will lead off with “the debut duet of two superstar queens from the blockbuster reality competition ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’” followed by “Argentinian queercore,” comedians of “Indian heritage” and “silent disco.”

Shanta Thake, the center’s chief artistic officer, pledged to “really confront our past head-on as we move into the future” by “opening this up and really saying that this is music that belongs to everyone” — implying, of course, that Mozart does not belong to everyone. Yet as with much of today’s racialized mythology, this new battle of San Juan Hill has been a story of wishful thinking. There indeed was a time when this area was a nexus of black New York. But its cultural height had come and gone long before Robert Moses turned his attention to redeveloping this outmoded and fire-prone section of the West Side.

By then, the “entire area was in an advanced state of decay,” according to the city.

The Lincoln Square Renewal Project of 1955 was remarkable not for the 17 blocks it cleared but for what was created in its place: a Manhattan campus for Fordham University, a new headquarters for the American Red Cross, 4,000 units of middle-income housing and a home for multiple performing-arts organizations of world renown.

As Lincoln Center took ownership of its parcel, it kept close tabs on the residents it helped relocate. Most of them remained in Manhattan, with 900 families staying on the Upper West Side. A study of the first 742 relocated showed that they mainly moved into larger quarters, all with up-to-date sanitary conditions.

Most notably, for all the “abhorrent” claims of the “displacement of Indigenous, Black, and Latinx families,” an internal census revealed a population that was, in fact, overwhelmingly white, with a ratio of three to one, while the area’s black population was in the single percentage points.

As it turns out, Lincoln Center’s self-accusation has been nothing more than a false confession. The year 2020 deserves a reckoning in more ways than one, but the race hustling in our institutions is a good place to start. The sheer magnitude of Mozart’s musical output is staggering, considering his short life of 35 years. While the exact number of compositions is uncertain, it is believed to be at least 626. The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and related causes received an astonishing $82.9 billion from corporations, a new funding database from the Claremont Institute has found.

For 6 months during the summer of 2020, leftwing revolutionary group Black Lives Matter held America hostage as the trail of murder, rape and destruction of property played itself out on the nightly news. The first person to be murdered by Black Lives Matter was a retired black police chief named David Dorn, but many more followed in his wake. When it was finally over, insurance claims totally over $2 billion dollars had been made, making it the costliest riot in American history. What brought it to an end? Money, lots and lots of money a new funding database from the Claremont Institute has found.

Major corporations reached deep into their pocketbooks and started writing checks totally almost $83 billion dollars. If we could read the “note” section on some of those checks, what would it say? Would they read ‘please accept these payments’ for “extortion”, “reparations” and “white guilt”? More likely it would read “proud to be part of the overthrow”. Here’s a fun fact, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Patrice Cullors, took her millions and bought herself a mansion in an exclusive and nearly all-white neighborhood, as well as other luxury investment properties. Power to the people, baby! Looks like George Soros got a great return on his investment. Doc Ruckman used to say, “if something doesn’t make sense, there’s a buck in it”, and in this case, just about 82 billion bucks.

Black Lives Matter Movement Received Nearly $83 Billion from Corporations Says New Database From Claremont Institute

FROM BREITBART NEWS: The Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life explained the necessity of their report in an article published in Newsweek, where the Center asserted that the 2020 BLM movement was about more than just “rioting and destruction.”

The Center explained that “The BLM pressure campaigns, harassment, and moral blackmail also amounted to possibly the most lucrative shakedown of corporate America in its history.”

“As a point of reference, $82.9 billion is more than the GDP of 46 African countries. In 2022, the Ford Motor Company’s profits were $23 billion,” they also noted. The sum of $82.9 million includes “more than $123 million to the BLM parent organizations directly,” as well as much more to other organizations supporting BLM’s agenda.

The list reveals that several popular corporations from a wide range of different industries supplied the movement with large sums of cash. Walmart, for example, which is based in Arkansas, gave a whopping $100 million in support of BLM and related causes focusing on “racial equity.” Amazon gave even more, supplying the movement with an astonishing $169.5 million. Silicon Valley Bank gave the movement $73.45 million.

Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical company Abbvie gave the movement over $62 million in funding. Allstate gave $7.7 million to the cause and American Express gave $50 million. Apple gave $100 million while AT&T gave $21.5 million. The movement and its causes received another $90 million from Nike. United Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines all gave money to BLM and related causes as well. Bank of America, meanwhile, provided $18.25 million to BLM and related causes while Wells Fargo diverted $210 million towards BLM and related causes. Deloitte gave $85 million to BLM and related causes.

Asset management giant BlackRock put a shocking $810 million towards BLM and related causes, while other powerful financial institutions also bankrolled the movement, with Capital One Financial giving $10 million, Morgan Stanley giving $30 million, US Bank giving $160 million, and Goldman Sachs giving $10.1 million. Meanwhile, Prudential Financial supplied the movement and its related causes with a sum of $450 million but was outdone by Mastercard, which gave $500 million.

The database found that Boeing gave $15.6 million, while Northrop Grumman gave $2 million and Raytheon gave $25 million. The Walt Disney Company gave $8.8 million to BLM and related causes while the Pokémon Company gave $200,000.

The Claremont Institute’s Center for the American Way of Life also explained how the funds have been used, remarking that

“The Global Network is investing tens of millions of dollars to support future operations, purchasing luxury real estate, engaging in nepotism, disbursing grants to dozens of BLM chapters and revolutionary organizations, and operating a PAC to “elect progressive community leaders, activists, and working-class candidates fighting for Black liberation.”

Meanwhile, “Local BLM chapters are spending millions on activism and initiatives to defund police departments” and “BLM At School is indoctrinating children around the country in critical race theory and queer theory, teaching them to hate themselves, their peers, and their country.”

“Left-wing nonprofits are effecting wholescale societal change too radical for normal legislative avenues, constituting a form of shadow governance,” they went on to note. READ MORE
